Costa Coffee — Restaurant in Ashford

Where do I begin with this one? I no longer frequent this Costa branch. Instead, I have started buying my coffee from The Coffee Shed at Coachworks, which is just a two-minute walk away. The coffee there is cheaper, quicker, and of better quality.

The staff at this Costa are generally uninspiring, possibly because they are understaffed. When they do have enough staff, one seems to wander around aimlessly, looking for paperwork to do.

The opening hours appear to change continuously.

The coffee quality is inconsistent, and the food shelves seem to be perpetually understocked.

Overall, I used to be a daily customer, but now I don’t visit at all. It’s simply not worth spending my money...

Was my first visit in Ashford, was a rainy cold afternoon at the end of Spring and i dropped in Costa looking for a lovely cup of hot drink. There where 2 lovely girls behind the counter and 4-5 customers. Although was 20 minutes to the closure, they welcomed me and served with care and kindness ( it doesn't happen often... unfortunately). The hot chocolate was perfect. The toilet was sparkly. Every thing tidy and clean with care. They also help me to find a charger for my phone. Well done girls! If I will drop in Asford again, I know already where to go for a lovely hot chocolate and...

They have teamed up with the train station to offer the nation's favourite coffee shop, locally to where ever you maybe standing. I recommend you pop in before your train journey as sometimes train journeys can be boring so why not having something exciting to keep you engaged. There baristas are waiting to handcraft your favourite coffee for you and serve it with some of our delicious food. Just in time for your train departure. That’s surely how i experienced it on...
