Went in there, asked if we needed to get a table to order and they said yes. Sat down and spent 10 minutes deciding what to have. Went to the bar stood there 15 minutes, got the impression all the staff wanted to do was flirt around the young men. Eventually one asked if we were waiting to order and we said yes and started to place our order which was two steaks, a wine and a lager. When my boyfriend asked for well done it was insinuated that it would come as it comes. Waiter then queried about my age and my boyfriend pointed out at 16 people can have a glass of wine with food. I am 21. In which the waitress shouted across to a lady that I assume is the manager who appeared to be flirting around other men who then stated let her have a small one. She didn’t even look at me. The wine was handed to us in a dirty glass. This was pointed out and the waitress gave a dirty look snatched it out of my boyfriends hand and proceeded to pour it in to another glass. I retorted sorry that’s not acceptable. Which she retorted back it’s only on the outside. She was about to argue so she grabbed the top of the wine dispenser which squirted wine over the bar. My boyfriend looked at me and we agreed we didn’t want to eat there. My boyfriend said forget it to the bar woman and walked out. My boyfriend went back in to get the water still on the table only to find that because we were so long at the bar other people had occupied our table. My boyfriend looked at the bar and saw the manager and bar women scowling at him over what appeared to be the glass of wine. My boyfriend was going to say what was on his mind but I told him to leave it. I was very appalled and angry with Finnigans inn and how we have...
Read moreIn all my life I've never left a review on anything or had to ask for a rufund but unfortunately today was different. Normally I leave this sort of stuff go but this place ruined my birthday and an evening out with my children which I rarely get. We were told when ordering at the bar that there was a 40 minute wait for food which was ok even though the place was half full, we still ordered our meals and waited. After an hour we went to ask at the bar if everything was OK and was told that our food was being plated and its 2 minutes away, with that a group of 4 sat down on the table next to us, they orders within 5 minutes and just like us was told there's a 40 minute wait. 5 minutes past then 10.. 15 still no sign of food. At this point we had waited 1 hour and 15 minutes and my 3 young children were starting to climb the walls, starving and just wanting to go home. We were contemplating weather to go up again a second time but didn't want to make to much of a fuss when they start fetching out food for the people who were sat next to us, who had only been there waiting for 15 minutes.
So basically sat in a hot, humid sweaty place for an hour and a half with children for absolutely no reason, didn't a actually get any food.
Anyway I'm fuming.. kids are...
Read moreRude customer service ruined our experience here. Everyone’s meal except for mine came out, after around 10 minutes I went to the bar to ask where my meal was. I spoke to a young girl working behind the bar who then pulled a face, walked away and said nothing to me. I was left stood there not knowing whether to go back to my table or wait there. A few minutes later I saw her coming out of the kitchen with my meal and put it on my table. My friends said that she didn’t say anything when she put it down, no apology or anything. I went back to the table and when she walked past I confronted her about leaving me stood there without saying anything. She denied this. But I’m not deaf, unless she whispered it, she didn’t say anything to me. I also then told her she hasn’t even apologised on behalf of the kitchen for the delay. She still didn’t apologise and instead just continued arguing that she hasn’t done anything wrong. Great food (when I eventually got it) but her attitude ruined our experience and we wouldn’t recommend this place purely because of her lack of customer...
