Cafe Deli 37 — Restaurant in Basildon

Went here for lunch with hubby today but both of us fancied full English brekkie.... What a good choice. We both had what I think was called the sunrise breakfast with added hash brown and a swap of beans for plum tomatoes..... Absolutely bang on 👌. It was nice and hot ( which is so important ). Very good quality sausage, tasty tomatoes, home made bubble, nice runny yolk egg, crispy hash. No complaints and 2 clean plates. Great service by a lovely lady and will definitely look forward to going back. Thank you...

Had the Pie and Mash. Thoroughly enjoyed it, my wife commented that it was exactly as she remembered from her E London childhood in the 60's.

Coffee was again superb. In fact we enjoyed the experience so much we're going back tomorrow to try the Home made pasta. It smelt so nice that we almost plumped for that instead.

Great little cafe, loads of options on the menu. Secure covid measures in place, booths and chairs visibly cleaned and screens in place. We had two big things from the breakfast menu, two soft drinks, a generous cappuccino and two yummy milkshakes to go totalling £25. If a place can survive next to a spoons then you know it's gold.
