Coco Cafe Basildon — Restaurant in Basildon

I am happy to admit I'm somewhat of a café connoisseur and Coco cafe and bistro did not disappoint. I always get the same thing when I try a new café on the basis that I know what I enjoy but also makes it fair. I ordered breakfast 3 and it was good value for money everything was cooked perfectly. It was great to have a friend breakfast without a pool of oil at the bottom of the plate. After finishing I felt full but not bloated. As for the décor it's so well done you actually forget that your sitting in a little café on whitmore way. It's modern with flowers that doesn't make it feminine in any way it actually bringd a hint of nature into a modern design. The only thing I can say that needs work here is to improve customer service. I would say it would be a great idea to welcome customers in or even serve at the tables. A check back every now and then would be a good addition too. This café is only one small step from becoming one of the best you can go to. The atmosphere feels luxurious and the food is delicious. A little customer service would bring this place from 4 stars to 5.

Came in for some brunch with a friend on a Thursday morning. Upon entering, the decor inside was very modern and sleek, and everything was very clean. We decided to order some cooked breakfasts and drinks. The food came relatively quickly, and it was all delicious. The eggs were slightly undercooked but it wasn’t a major issue. We thoroughly enjoyed our food, and will definitely be returning as the value for money was fantastic. Only slight negative was that you have to pay in cash, and following that, the only ATM nearby charges £2 for withdrawals, so make sure you get money...

This cafe moved here from what was known as the garden cafe on Nevendon Rd. Unfortunately it's not for me, Its far to poncey. The garden cafe was a traditional English breakfast cafe where all your breakfast was served on a plate. The new cafe severs your beans in a cup and the tin tomatoes in a dish only for me to tip them straight on to my plate. I really don't see the point in that. The food is just as good but now...
