The Crane — Restaurant in Basildon

I drink in this little friendly pub most evenings as they have a great selection of beer and it's really cheap, nice, cold and refreshing after a hard day's work. The bar staff are very friendly welcoming and helpful. They offer free pool on a Monday and Thursday and good old fashioned bingo on a Wednesday all money goes to a fab charity, macmillan. They have a Facebook page, which shows upcoming events. They are a Green king oub so if you download the season ticket you get discount, absorbs of prizes too. I would recommend this...

Very poor service overall. Very little discounts and customer loyalty scheme. Very small and inconsiderate staff. If you have a booking, arrive at the booking time and not an hour earlier and start telling paying customers to move. Very rude way to be.

This is a great pub thats hidden just off whitmore way. I love how friendly it is, the staff are so helpful and polite. The beer is reasonable they even have the green king season ticket where i got a complimentary pint, then an addidtional 10% discount when the footy or other sports are on. They have a huge screen to watch that on too. Def pop in and sample this gem...
