Was quite excited to try out an African themed hair salon as their pictures of cuts were impressive. I went in at the time they assured me they would be available and I had to wait for the barber to finish with his client. After 40 minutes of waiting and no communication, I was offered a burger (a very kind gesture) and declined as it would complicate things for them due to me being vegetarian. The barber then completely went off about my dietary 'needs' and disregarded my opinion as a vegetarian who is qualified in Nutrition and Personal Training. He then felt it was necessary to question the fact that I mentioned I was from Africa, referring to me being white and that white people in Africa do not 'struggle' . Honestly just felt disappointed in the whole experience and ended up walking out before even getting my hair cut. Don't know why the need for the verbal attack when I wanted to support a fellow African in the UK. I won't...

I had a weave sewn in and it was the worst hair I’ve ever had!

First of all, it’s too pricey and when I complained, I was made to look like I don’t know anything about hair! The hair pulled back after 2 days and I was made to look like I was bald!I should have known when the lady fixing the hair kept telling me to pull while she sewed that it was going to end up a disaster but I was made to know that I was having the best weave on cos of the price!

And again, as I was leaving the guy made me look like a cheat as he thought I gave the cashier a wrong figure, he had to walk up and be like let’s see and when he realised I gave the right figure, he felt bad and offered cookies as I was about to leave.

The 2 ladies in there were both very nice but I had the worst sewn in ever!

I’ve learnt my lesson, never to go back...

There was 6 of us. Friendly welcome, offered to put some beers in freezer to cool them off quicker for us. Waitress had little knowledge of the meals on offer but was very friendly. Unfortunately they didn't have the meal I asked for after waiting 30 minutes. They then suggested an option which they the later didn't have either. The chef came out and apologized and offered a tray of tough grisly beef with strong spice on, which I ate a little if but didn't like very much. He then brought a bowl of Turkey which tasted good but turns out was not full cooked and pink inside. Wasn't charged for my meal, but didn't enjoy either. Mac and cheese was good, as was the curried Goat. Some of the others meals where not...
