First time trying Taco Bell for both my partner and myself. After reading the reviews, we were somewhat sceptical but decided to give it a try regardless. To say it was dinner time (after 1pm) there weren't many people around which was concerning. We both opted for the crispy chicken burrito combo's, expecting a bit of a kick. We waited around ten or so minutes, but we didn't mind that much as we knew it more than likely meant that our meals would be fresh. When our order was called, it smelt delicious and the seasoned fries looked amazing. However, upon eating we both agreed that the seasoning was slightly overpowering and we resorted into purchasing dips which were 55p each. The Burrito's were slightly disappointing, considering we make spicier ones at home and were considerably bland in comparison to what we both expected. The atmosphere was also lacking and didn't really feel welcoming and the music playing in the background was too much for my liking (for someone with an ADHD diagnosis and sensory overload speaking) but each to their own. It was okay, but I don't think we'll be in a rush to return anytime soon.

We dropped into the Rhodesia Taco Bell today for lunch, hopeful that the internet reputation that it has is undeserved, and to a large extent, it was, and we were all fed and relatively satisfied when we left. That said: Our table was dirty (as was all the glass here - this place was in need of some windolene), we had to ask for napkins (which were tiny) and clean it ourselves. One of our party wanted tap water, but the ice-machine was broken: the (very friendly) staff offered a bottle of water, without charge, instead. As has been my experience with fast-food lately, the staff were the best part of the experience. The kids had a taco and a baby quesadilla: the quesadilla was ok, but the taco was more lettuce than anything else. I had a "Volcano Buritto" box, which had a buritto (with no heat at all, despite the volcano moniker) which was not too filled, mostly melted cheap cheese, a taco which was more lettuce than anything else, some fries (which were pretty decent, the kids loved the fries with the cheese sauce) and some churros, which the kids liked. - cleanliness, the burrito, the taco + the staff, the fries

We looked at the reviews before ordering but still decided to give it a try. Firstly the staff are friendly and pleasant, no issues there, the wait isn't an issue, we'd rather wait for fresh food than getting old food instantly, refillable drinks is a good perk to coming here. Finally the food, burritos were satisfactory, expected more spice and disappointed not to get at least a tingle, fries were over seasoned, it was like licking an empty cheesy doritos packet. We'll be back to try more of the menu but not be rushing back. Hopefully they read these reviews and our next visit will be 5* 😊

This place is run like someone with zero experience won a competition to run a restaurant, didn't like it, mentally checked out but still has a week to go..

I get the volcano burrito meal and never has the burrito been consistently the same level of filling, or hot, it's luke warm at best and the volume of filling varies from ok to dire.

I stopped even using the drive trough as it seems they only fill them to about 30% of what they should be, well that and the fact it's faster to drive to the sheffield branch than use the drive through at Worksop, it took 20 minutes for two cars!

When you finally do get the burrito.. it looks nothing like the photo, maybe 60% at best filling wise even when eating in.

The whole experience is dismal as:

The ice machine doesn't work and hasn't for weeks They ran out of napkins The ran out of toilet roll They ran out of fire sauce They ran out of soft drink and just gave us weakly coloured water The order machines don't work as constantly running out of rolls for receipts They ignore you for far ages when you go to counter to order The place is messy, with nobody appearing to regularly clean up The staff appear to be devoid of all initiative and common sense

Whomever is managing this place clearly isn't holding anyone accountable .. or they have zero standards, systems and processes in place to create a repeatable positive customer experience.

Whomever the area manager is that is managing the manager is inept too!

This place lets Taco Bell down badly... which is hard.. as it's hardly Michelin level cuisine but they still manage to mess it up!.. in fact messing up is the ONLY thing they do well and...

Full disclosure, I've never written a review of a restaurant or fast food chain before. Never felt compelled to. But the experience I got from this establishment was so bad, I couldn't keep my feelings to myself. My partner gave them the benefit of the doubt by saying "They've only been open a few days. There are always teething problems at first." But those "teething problems" included 1 out of 2 kiosks being broken, an hour long wait time for only a small order, food being available for purchase on the kiosk but not actually being in stock, refusal to refund any money lost on that aforementioned problem and our order ultimately being wrong. Even for a new fast food chain, those issues are shameful. And for all of them to happen in a single night, it's completely unforgivable. How a "fast food" chain can take an hour to complete a meal is beyond me. Either they're horribly understaffed or woefully trained. But the curious thing is that, when I asked for my order to be corrected, the employee got the job done in less than a minute. It seems that the workers are equipped in terms of knowledge and skill, but they can't work under pressure. I'll give them the benefit of the doubt and treat this experience as a "yellow card". I may try again in a few months. If things haven't changed by then, I think it's safe to say that they'll...
