Chelsea Road Deli — Restaurant in Bath

My partner and I moved to Newbridge during Lockdown and found Guiseppe's friendly attitude and a good choice of products to be a really warm welcome to the neighborhood.

We understood from our friends that the deli had been underwhelming before new management took over but we have had nothing but positive experiences here so far and imagine things will improve even more once Lockdown is over!

The produce on offer is either traditional Italian fare (good quality tinned tomatoes are worth picking up), or locally sourced goods such as Bath Soft Cheese Co and Shepton Mallet dairy.

We're yet to sit in to dine but I'm sure we will be doing so as soon as we're allowed.

Just a shame there's not more room for different types of produce. I'd love some fresh fruit & veg or other interesting tins and jars to try -- Stokes grocers on Moorland Road have done a wonderful job introducing interesting produce to their shelves in...

Absolutely adorable spot! I stumbled upon this little gem tucked away on Chelsea Road - Bath. The atmosphere is cozy and welcoming, with thoughtful decor that makes it feel like home. The coffee is top-notch—smooth, rich, and clearly made with care. They’ve also got a great selection of tasty Italian deli items. I loved the Italian Aragostine Pastry, filled with a delicious chocolate cream. The staff were super friendly and made me feel like a regular, even on my first visit. Brizzy, my dog, got her own bowl of fresh water too. Whether you’re catching up with a friend, getting some work done, or just enjoying a quiet moment, this place is a perfect choice. Glad I found this place and had breakfast here instead of the overpriced cafe up the road. Good food, freshly made. Friendly service without the over-familiarity found in certain chains. My coffee was well-made, not burnt or drowned in milk. The ham in the ham and cheese croissant was delicious - flakey, light, slightly smokey and satisfyingly salty against the creaminess of the cheese. The croissant seemed homemade, perfect lamination and flakiness. Just typing this is making me want...
