Went for Saturday morning breakfast. Had heard amazing things about the food here and knew that if there was a queue it was worth the wait. Arrived betweeen 10.30-11. Because at 11 is when the cinnamon rolls come out, according to my friend! We did have to wait but it wasnt for very long. The staff were very good at remembering which group was next in the queue. I ordered the grilled cheese with all the extras - chilli jam and bacon. It was delish. Side salad was tastey too and i ate every last bite. My friend got the rhubarb and custard pancake. And i had serious food envy. The flavours were so well paired. Even down the the crumble on top! I had ordered a hot chocolate with the mallow on top. Top teir! While we were eating a cake came out immaculately decorated with strawberries and i had to buy a slice for home. I also bought some of the lemon and poppy seed loaf. Both bakes where so light and refreshing. Compliments to the chef! All in all it was an amazing experience. 100% will recommend.

You're more than welcome here if you'd like to eat but don't bother if you want a coffee or the famous hot chocolate. My family of 5 adults came in to try the famous hot chocolate and when it came to order the waitress said oh no food after 3 of us had just ordered coffees. She returned behind the bar and said very loudly, that table aren't having food. We offered to move to the window to have our coffees but she said it was okay but it clearly wasn't. Hot Chocolate was very nice with the marshmallow top but the orange flavour that I asked for only seemed to be a powder on top. The food did look very nice from what we saw. But wouldn't be returning to spend our money when we weren't welcome the first time.

Unfortunate and regrettable experience. This place is total disappointment for where it is located. I thought of going there by good reviews and photos. But it looks like a place which take customers for granted.

Atmosphere : OK. Yeah. Granted its full of people. And many waiting long time.

Price : A bit on the high side. Even for Lisburn Rd . And the quality doesn't justify the price.

Service : Totally disappointing. People wait in queue. Tables were uncleaned. I been told -- "It's just a bit Golden syrup on Table. Not too bad. Hahaha". Like what? I been waiting on dirty table for 20-30 mins, to get it cleaned and remind them couple of time to get cleaned. Food service is so slow. They don't even pay attention to get orders move quickly. Waited about 45 mins for food. Even my coffee got cold.

Food : That probably main part. I been OK wid all above. If Food was good. Went for caramel pancakes. My pancakes was bland and totally flavourless. It was rubbery and tested so vile. It looked good, but tastes so bad. . I had to eat something else afterwards to wash the taste of it. The staff hadnt even checked upon me even once after serving, that if everything is alright.

I can't even believe they charge £11 for such pancakes which tastes vile. Couldn't even bother complaining, cuz the staff is too busy to care.

For a business situated in place like Lisburn Rd where there are places which provides good service and good food. This place is total disappointment. I would recommend output espresso, espresso elements or cafe mauds etc. Which are just nearby, have similar menu. But the hospitality and the food quite superior from this one.

Update: The owner seems to be stuck up and egotist about it. And dont like my review. Not even any apology. I never gave such review to any business. But I dont see any other way to say it. When you have long wait time, top of the market prices. And yet, provide horrible hospitality, total disregard of customer and food that make people feel like sick. But you do. What you do. I...

The food is lovely but the attitude of some members of staff lets it down. We visited on Friday just passed at quite a busy time. For this reason service was slow, which was understandable, and we were perfectly pleasant to the members of staff who did serve us. However, one member of staff in particular who directed us to our seats and eventually took our payment seemed flustered and agitated by everything we said and did. We went to pay and asked if there was any way to split. We then talked amongst ourselves briefly on how we would split and we were greeted with eye rolling and huffing and puffing by this staff member. We were not overcomplicating things by any means, it just seems as though this person cannot practice any patience whatsoever. Working in hospitality myself, I can understand getting to the end of my tether, but you should never let it affect your interactions with customers, especially those who are perfectly nice and understanding about delays. What was a nice meal and warm, friendly treatment from other staff, has been ruined by a most...
