Perhaps it’s because myself and a few others were waiting on the shop opening, but the staff were a bit sour faced upon arrival. After giving my order, the barista seemed confused and I felt judged for my drink of choice. There was no chai syrup for my iced chai latte. It is essential that any coffee shop has chai syrup for an iced chai latte or it will come out bitty. Also, why not just have it anyway as some people prefer a sweeter taste? The shop seemed bright and clean at first glance, however we changed tables and found our second table had not been cleaned at all. I find this a little disturbing since we were the first customers of the day to sit there. This means the table hadn’t been cleaned the night before - Photos attached below. I suggest the managers stress to the staff how important it is that they complete all necessary cleaning duties during their closing shift. Altogether this cafe Nero isn’t awful but just isn’t great either. The classical music and random Italian stock images all over the place make it feel so inauthentic … but I guess you get what you pay for.

One of my favorite things about this Nero coffee shop is the positive energy. As soon as you walk in, you're greeted with a warm and cozy atmosphere that's perfect for relaxing or catching up with friends. The staff are incredibly welcoming and always eager to make your day better. One feature that I particularly love is the inspiring cards located near the cashier. They change daily and never fail to lift up your spirits. It's such a small detail, but one that makes a big impact. It's just another example of how this coffee shop goes above and beyond to create an uplifting and supportive environment for its customers. I tried carrot cake with cream so yummy

They need new spoons or someone needs to wash them properly as they’re stained and eugh. A dog friendly place which is great but dogs on fabric seats on a wet day is not so good. The raspberry and amaretto cake is usually lovely but was a bit dry so probably past its best. The raspberry roulade was just a sugary dry tasteless waste of money.

An actor would not be put on stage if he hasn't rehearsed. Just as a batista should not be behind the counter if their management skills are atrocious. The young girl serving me this morning took approximately 12 minutes to get through 3 people delaying me for my train. I could have completely forgiven that had she given me the correct order. I had asked for a summer fruits tea and a pain au chocolat to go, what she gave me was a medium sized cup only about 3/4 of the way full and a slice of pastry that neither contained pain, or chocolat. And even yet I could forgive this had her contact worker not been idly disregarding her errors. The man in charge of human resources needs to fully reevaluate who he puts on duty in the mornings when people are in a hurry. To say that i am horrified at the service I received is a heavy heavy...
