I don't want to sound too harsh as I love the diversity we have of different cuisines in the area but I felt disappointed with the food particularly the meat and fish. It's so dry it's almost like it's been in the oven for 5 hours at low heat, maybe it's how meat are supposed to be, dry? The flavours were fantastic it's just the meat that let it down. There was not enough sauce and I'd prefer to have it separately from the rice rather than in one container. Reallllllllly delicious Nigerian food. I wasn't sure how good it would be before ordering but it over delivered. Nice that the owners haven't dialled down the spice level to suit the local palate either.
The jollof was amazing ... Smoky and spicy, as it should be. Beef and chicken were well spiced and tasty too.
The suya beef was just right. A little nutty and nicely seasoned.
The complimentary plantain was a nice touch too .....
