Gaze Ormeau Road — Restaurant in Belfast

Return visit June 2024 for a takeaway. Paid £24.90 for three mains; the prawn crackers were complimentary which was a nice touch. You can order online, but I'm glad i didn't at it was coming to £30.20. Honey chilli chicken still good, rib eye yaki noodles good, but the chicken peking needs work. Sauce in the mains is sometimes lacking with the containers often not filled to the top. Still cash payments. Overall, another good experience and I'll be back.

I've had better spring rolls. Honey chilli chicken was really good but they had a speciality meal that was really poor especially considering they put their name to it. Expensive in comparison to other Chinese takeaways. Cash payments only. Had tables to sit in but the only business they had that night...

The menu is very misleading. The description of the restaurant's food is inaccurate. We ordered minced chicken with aubergine but the chicken was not minced. It was large chunks. We ordered shredded beef honey chilli, however the meat delivered was chicken and not in the least shredded. We also ordered dry chilli salt prawns, however they were surrounded by a soggy batter. We ordered in the morning for delivery in the evening. Limited consideration seems to have been given to the order. The dishes themselves were very gloopy. Fried rice and prawn crackers were fine. . We will not order from Gaze again. Avoid. Sadly, this is one of the poorest Chinese restaurants that we have received food from in Belfast (we also lived in China for 5 years). Kind...

Not happy about the portion size, ordered a half and half it came in this tiny wee plastic box all squished. It was ment to be half and half but there was way more fried rice an there was chips. There was barely any chips also which is a disgrace since I paid an extra 60p ! I would have been better off just getting fried rice because the portion of the chips was shocking! Rang up and they offered to send chips out ? By the time they done that my food would have been cold! Then they said about giving me free chips next time! I don’t think they’re will be a next time, shocking...
