Extremely vague website with no description of anything resulted in a “cheese burger meal” (in any other takeaway this is a plain burger unless you say otherwise) coming fully dressed with relish. My partner does not like sauces at all so I had rang and asked for my food to be replaced. The guy on the phone was pleasant and I had mentioned the awful website so he had said I will get a new burger meal delivered. All whilst I could hear a female worker screeching about what I was taking about in the background. The delivery driver had came and asked for the burger back which was not stated on the phone call. I live in a uni house so instead of dumping the food I offered it to someone who would eat it. The delivery driver was basically shouting at me at my own front door telling me “there’s obviously nothing wrong with the burger then” so on and so forth until he drove off and told me to ring the takeaway myself. I rang and was met with a very hostile man who would not let me get a word in edge wise. Again I could hear the absolute screams of the woman in the background. I told him I was not told they would want the burger back. He then passed me along to the original guy I was phoning and the issue was then resolved as he knew himself he didn’t say so the driver had to drive back for the second time. I’d understand they would want the food back if say the burger was undercooked so it would prove that but they knew the burger was sent to me fully dressed as it is how they do it but it was again not stated on the website. Poor excuse of a website and poor excuse for a chippy who clearly need staff better trained on how to deal with these situations. Training point...
Read moreI ordered of just eat. I had seen that the order was late so I made the restaurant aware and clicked the late button. Order was then rescheduled to another 20 mins- I was then waiting over an hour on the food. After the 20 mins still no sign of the food. Next thing I know the restaurant cancelled my order. (I had already paid for this order btw) I was livid and rang the restaurant. Staff member on phone was very rude and sarcastic. I had said where is my food and he said the driver couldn’t find me? He then said the driver was at my door for 10 mins. Keep in mind I was sitting in my living room so I could see outside, nobody came to my door. He then said the driver tried ringing me, so did the restaurant. I had no missed calls from anybody. He then said there was no phone number on the receipt? He proceeded to try and get more food sent out for me. I said no you keep your food, I do want my money back though. He said I have to contact just eat. So that is what I am going to do. Do not...
Read moreWent in with my friend at 12:30am and we both ordered our food, paid for it and waited for it to be prepared. My friend’s food arrived slightly before me so he went to the seating area and the two door staff (security)let him and said nothing. When my food was ready I went into the same area to join him. Again the two door staff said nothing until I started eating. One said that there is no sitting in after 1am. My friend pointed out that it was 12:45am. The door staff member said, “It’s really after 12!” I handed him my food and asked that he arrange a refund and we would eat elsewhere. The other doorman did just that. Handed my food back and the bewildered counter staff gave him my refund. Management called me and have gone above and beyond to restore faith in their offering.
