Horrible delivery. Kept getting delayed. Coffee came barely warm.
REPLY: Hi, thanks for your response.
To be honest, I found your reply quite unprofessional. I gave 4 stars for the food because it was fine. My issue was with the service, which is why that part was rated lower. Unfortunately, this was not the first time I have had problems. On previous occasions, I ordered food I was looking forward to, only for it to be delayed repeatedly and then I had to cancel the order myself when I realised the shop was actually closed. I was left waiting with no explanation and then had to wait days to get my refund from Just Eat. You decide whether to accept an order or not, so blaming the delivery platform entirely is not fair.
I have never experienced such consistent delays with Just Eat from other restaurants, so why is it happening here? I love supporting local businesses, but they have to earn support from the local community.
The customer experience includes the quality of the food as it arrives, the timeliness, and how issues are handled, especially when delivery is a service you actively offer.
I also looked at how you have responded to other negative reviews, and it honestly shocked me. Telling someone to stay at home and do everyone a favour, or accusing people of sniping at a small business, is incredibly hostile and inappropriate. Rather than showing professionalism or any willingness to listen, there seems to be a pattern of reacting defensively and lashing out at customers who do not leave glowing feedback.
I do not believe this is an issue with the staff, but rather a failure of management to prevent this kind of consistent behaviour. The volatile nature of your responses only reinforces that impression.
Using language like gut wrenching and focusing on how my review affects your rating instead of acknowledging my concern only adds to that. A professional business would thank the customer for the feedback, apologise for the experience, and offer to follow up, not criticise or guilt trip them.
I want to support local businesses, but professionalism, accountability, and basic respect for customers...

I have probably eaten here more times than I would like to admit, the location is just up the road from Queen's University and there is a range of different bagels for any sort of cravings, from a simple cheesy bagel, to a bagel filled with different types of meats, avocado, peppers or even a delicious breakfast bagel.
The ambiance is cozy but modern, with a few tables for dining in and great packaging for those grabbing to-go. Pricing is reasonable, especially for the quality you get.
Whether you're a bagel purist or love to try new flavors and combinations, this place won't disappoint. Highly recommend it for breakfast, lunch, or a mid-day snack. Don't forget to grab a few extras...

Bagels were good, prices were higher than expected for what you get, but to be fair everything seems to be high quality, clear made by great chefs.
Service: Get the time changed on Google if the place is not open at the specified time or ready at the time.
Front staff needs some form of performance review? If this were a group project this is where you’re losing marks.
Atmosphere: The place is very nice, well furnished. Has plugs if you want to study there.
Overall great place, front staff has left a bitter taste in my experience. Don’t think I’ll be returning. Hope the experience is...
