Big John's Highgate — Restaurant in Birmingham

So I waited in the queue for ages while everybody else got served. The "server" then decided to ignore me. Some new patron then walked into the store behind me and was served instead of me! I've always known Big John's employs the most backward, uncouth, racist, philistines but even for them, this is a new low. Oh, I was the only black patron; the others were Somali and Pakistani.

It gets better. I got my tandoori chicken and chips from Red Rooster across the road. I then went back to big john's to talk to the manager. Apparently, no manager. So I get their number and call. Me: "Give me the manager's name and let me know when the manager comes in" BJ: "There's no manager here, come in and get a number for complaints" Me: "Just give me the number over the phone" BJ: -Hangs up.

Apparently they don't bother with customer service over there. I finally got an apology from phone hanger upper after I went down there looking to fight someone.

The icing: their complaints number has been disconnected. It seems they don't pay their phone bills either.

First time

Chippy chips were nice and fresh. 6" pizza with 2 toppings, I think he put too much cheese on top which made the pizza hard or it was just over cooked Wasnt enjoyable, Fish fillet burger, dont get it. The white chocolate doughnut its was fresh and soft it was soooooo nice,

And to top it off he charged us about £30 for the food overall, And when food was ready he goes, we cant eat inn you have to take it away.

We felt like covering the delivery car with the poor food their served us.

I dont blame Birmingham somalia, who let um hav it!

Worst Big Johns in Birmingham- almost triggered my son’s ALLERGIES!!! 😠 I was greeted with the most miserable lady, who looked disinterested. I ordered 3 burger meals and 3 chicken meals. I specifically asked for no Mayo on one of the burgers, as my son is allergic to eggs.After a 25 minute wait - 7 customers came in after me and left with their food- she the proceeded to give me one chicken meal less. Once this was rectified I confirmed the ‘no mayo’ burger and she lazily pointed to it saying ‘there’. I asked for my taco sauces and she tried to give me 1. I asked the other 2 and she made it like she was doing me a favour. To top it off, I got home and there was CHILLI AND MAYO on the the burger. As my son is allergic to eggs he couldn’t eat the burger and we had to order him food from elsewhere....
