I didn't drink here. Unfortunately, I stayed here It was filthy. Bin was disgusting. The bed dips in. Pics! I have to be the worst place I've stayed in, No way is it worth £63...I would've went home but you have to lock the outside door it's a bit of nightmare stairs and to codes one for the metal gate and wood gate then lock the door on stairs. Never again, taxis find it awkward to get to.

A nice pub, with a car in the basement.... Frequented by Brum fans on a match day and very busy. The bar staff were very friendly and even explained how the car ended up in the basement... Apparently the owner dismantled the pub, lowered in the car and built over it, the basement isn't large but made for a good bolthole for watching a match.

Immaculate interior, very cool. Has a car on the ground floor which was closed. Toilets spotless. Decent service. However, the only half decent beers which were on keg were not on and I was left with a pretty poor choice. No real ale/craft. Loud music playing and horse racing/sports on TV. Was busy and popular but not to my taste.

Nice pub , welcoming and friendly staff and the rooms are small but clean and comfortable and good value for money fur somewhere to get your head down for a night while visiting Birmingham . Ok so the surrounding area is a bit rough and ready and you may get woken up by the sound of revving engines and screeching tyres but hey it’s in a very urban area which is undergoing considerable development . You probably wouldn’t book in for a week and given the proximity of the beds in the twin rooms you have to be comfortable with spending a night with whoever is sleeping in the other bed . We didn’t mind , four big sweaty flatulent snoring blokes. It was a laugh . Would book again if we did another theatre trip and didn’t want to spend £130 a night EACH for...

First thing that hit you upon entry was the smell of bleach. Second visit and brought friends informing there was a car down stairs. Growled at by other customers telling us we couldn't go down stairs, the toilets weren't down there & we weren't allowed. Staff were attentive. The tv was very loud and ask if where we were sitting could be turned down. The staff said no problem, but one of the customers turned the volume back up again. Only stayed for one drink. Would not go on there again, only 5 customers in the pub & us. All that was missing was the biscuit tin as the other customers must have thought this was their living room & not a...

We stayed at The Fountain Inn Digbeth and were very disappointed. The walk from the city centre felt unsafe, with quiet streets and graffiti-covered buildings. Access to the accommodation was awkward, especially after pub hours, when guests had to use metal gates and outdoor stairs. The 10 a.m. checkout time was unreasonably early, and our room even had a fist-sized hole in the wall left by a previous guest. The only positive was that the owner and staff were friendly at check-in, but overall, we wouldn’t...
