We ordered the Terry’s chocolate orange croissants and karak chai. There was a variety of chocolate croissants to choose from and other sweet treats, such as donuts, chocolate bombs, cakes and waffles. However, we opted for chocolate croissants, as this is unique and not what other chai places are offering.

The interior and aesthetic of the cafe is what first caught our eye. Being big fans of karak chai, we had to pop down to try out the Chaii Wali karak chai and we were certainly not disappointed. Fabulous. The chai was exceptional. Rich, aromatic, and just like home. The breakfast was flawless, hitting all the right notes. As someone who’s usually skeptical about breakfast spots, this one blew me away. On a previous visit, I tried the keema, which was perfectly spiced and delicious. This time, the chana stole the show—well cooked, packed with flavour, and elevated by the addition of masala beans. Simply outstanding.
