Greggs — Restaurant in Birmingham

I was in this area for a interview today , while waiting poped in to Greg’s , I had planed to order some food and a drink but first needed the toilet , I actually can’t finds the words to describe the filth I seen on opening the toilet door , There was urine soaked toilet roll surrounding the base of the toilet . Lots of it , The toilet bowl itself has not seen a bottle of bleach in months . There was a brown ring of a crusty substance , round the toilet water level . The sinks were filthy with black mould or dirt on them . I understand public toilets can sometimes need a clean but this brown crust has been growing in that toilet bowl for weeks if not months ,

As the toilet is a single door leading directly out on to the shop floor I didn’t stop to purchase any food ,, If this is the standards of hygiene they let the public see I’d hate to see or even think about the standards behind where food is cooked and prepared that we can’t see ,, This place needs a health and safety inspection , Would not feed my dog food prepared in this place and certainly wouldn’t recommend anyone to eat...

Firstly i just want to say how nice and clean this restaurant of greggs is. I also want to praise one of your members of staff there is this lovely young woman who i see nearly every day at this store.she is always so friendly and has a smile on her face.I see her go out her way to help out all the other customers come into greggs. I want to say well done to a great worker her name is Katie she always interacts well with customers and has great customer service . A good-sized Greggs and a good selection of food. The servers are generally friendly and speedy at serving.

The negatives are that it's in Erdington, which is a terrible, rough, rundown area. They have a toilet that's always locked. I assume it's to stop drug takers going in there to take their drugs. Lots of rough people go in here, too. But, there are some nicer people who go in here too, especially before and after work and those working people going on their lunch break. You have to pay to sit down to eat and sometimes the tables are dirty...

Advice for them - Open the toilet, clean the tables and stop the dodgy looking...
