Baguette Du Maison — Restaurant in Birmingham

Wed 7 feb 2018 at 12pm Food maybe nice but the customer service is Terrible and lack of no wheelchair access is dehumanizing. I have been a customer for number for years and both the owner and his wife repeatedly say they will make the front wheelchair accessible . They have mad ele wait outside when they say we can come to you and you'll be fine is ostrasizing my human dignity. Yet today I was left outside in the freezing cold weather outside where I had to write with the same co-owner to lift me inside becuas e yet again they have not mad their entrance wheelxhair accessible...it was emotionally undignified. The owners stated they can't make the front accessible because it is next to road/payment. I examined that is wrong and by law you need to make your entrance wheelxhair accessi me by dropping down the big step with lowered level ramp. The step can be rebuilt to a levelled access ramp. The bars are not wheelchair friendly as you can even reach them when your front 4 inch step is obstructed me. Saying your going to get it ramped for 3 years is not justifiable. First time visit yesterday (6th Nov) Overheard a woman complain her baguette was made wrong she asked for cheese onion and mayo. The older guy behind counter spoke rudely to her and said “yes that’s what we sell cheese spring onion and mayo” she said “no I asked for normal onion” the guy caved and got her another made but I thought he handled it poorly. Then it came to my order I was told off for queuing in the wrong place, when there’s nothing to say where to queue esp when I was the 2nd to be in the shop and no one behind me at the time of entering. I ordered spicy Mexican chicken and cheese potato and the potato was nice and soft however nothing spicy about the filling at all.

Looked ok from the outside. Went in and Miss Moody attitude was serving.

I should have left after getting the 'I can't be bothered response' to a question I had asked.

Against my better judgement I ordered anyway, The baguette was disgusting and the smell once I had returned to my van was foul.

Cheap nasty ingredients with similar prices to Greggs along with crappy service, nah never again, a total waste of money.
