Jade Garden — Restaurant in Birmingham

I ordered food with the delivery instructions to call me on arrival, when I get that phone call it is an incredibly rude and aggressive delivery driver claiming he has been stood outside for 5 minutes and will not get out the car again for fear of getting wet from the rain, I reminded him that the delivery instructions were to call anyway, so anytime spent outside is his own fault.

I go to the door and there is no delivery driver in sight, after a few minutes of me standing there he pulls in off the main road, then passess the order off with the poorest attitude possible.

Clearly he was just making up a story so I would come to the car and he wouldn't have to get out in the rain. I would suggest he looks for new employment if getting wet for a few seconds make him this unhappy

Very very disappointed, me and my family have been using this takeaway for years most weeks we order our food from this takeaway however I will never recommend or use this place again it appears they put there staff before loyal customers, all because a driver could not be bothered to bring the food to the apartment building he expected me to come down to him were he was parked at a bus stop which is illegal parking let alone putting himself at risk and other drivers from smashing there car. So cheekily he expected me to put myself in danger and collect from the side of a busy road where he was parked illegally rather then just park up correctly and bring to the bottom of the building… driver should be sacked as really...

Well, it's been over 5 years since I last had a takeaway from my old favourite Chinese takeaway having moved slightly out the area and when my local Chinese changed hands and went dramatically down hill and having tried all the local Chinese takeaways which were all quite poor and now some of them have stopped putting prawns in now ( cost cutting ) decided to drive back to the jade garden and it was even better than I remembered, chunks of chicken, beef, pork and yes king prawns it really was gorgeous and will now start driving the little distance in future, please jade garden don't let your standards drop like so many takeaway...
