Just been here about an hour ago, guy on the phone was abrupt, but i thought i would still try it for the first time. I went to collect my order, the girl accidentally gave part of my order to the wrong customer, so and the owner was telling her off and talking down to her like shes some sort of idiot infront of other customers. So he after their argument, they came back and told me the rest of my food would be 20minutes. Id already paid and called my wife who was waiting in the car to see what she wanted to do. During this time the owner came back and said it will be a few minutes. 5 minutes later the food came out, but i had been in their for 15 minutes at this point, i told the guy he needs to sort some discount and give me some money back. He said he isnt giving me a penny and to stop wasting his time. I told him that i paid for fresh pizza, i understand the girl made a mistake, but my pizza and fries have sat on top of the oven for at least 15 minutes and is no longer fresh, he lept saying its hot, ge said i can have my money back but no food, or i pay full price and acting as if im trying to get free food. It was principle, you could heat food up in the microwave and it would be hot, that doesnt make it taste the same as it does when it first comes out of the oven. Anyway, 40 minutes of my time wasted, i wasn't prepared to get a refund and go elsewhere, took the food, but the only thing that was hot was the chicken that he had to redo. The fries and pizza was cold. This guy has an attitude problem and thinks his customers should pay full price for inconvenience, bad attitude and cold food. Safe to say i wont be going there again. We live local and thought we would try it, so he's lost out on potential long term customers. Also, i don't need to try and get free food, i make a decent living as a self employed IFA. If i didn't deliver what my clients expect of me, i would waive or discount my fee to maintain an honourable reputation, retain the clients and continue to get future recommendations. Honour is something this guy clearly doesn't have. To the girl who served me, i wouldn't let your boss speak to you like that, apply for a job anywhere else, nobody should be humiliated like that,...
Read moreI'm.saddened to write this but had the worst experience in a long while. My son ordered an online delivery which was taken over a hour to complete so I called and i asked for a refund to be told it be 5mins I asked again to be given free pop so I agreed eventually the order came for it to be wrong order not the 1st time this has happened by the way as we regularly use pizza cottage regardless of previous fails, anyway I call up to explain that iv been given a 16inch and not the 18inch iv been waiting for over a hour I asked kindly for a refund to be left while the lady spoke to others I was very alarmed by this does my order as a customer not count? Eventually I'm now speaking to man who just leaves the phone on the side for 10mjns I'm on call with no one speaking just them talking how very very rude and bad service..I decide to go to the shop as I don't live with my son but I'm.closer to give my feelings and ask.for refund to be refused and told to bring order back? Correction you should be doing that it was your mistake I just want what we asked for in 1st place a refund .. I was arguing with the delivery man who made me.shake I felt I intimidated and un validated the lady bow is sorting q refund for the man cooking walks over takes the paper off her demands her to silence snd tells.me to bring food back and ill get refund I agreed but as I'm.leaving iv told them I think the service is disgusting fir the young one who thinks he's amazing decided to shout abuse at me says I'm.disgusting and to fuk off out thw shop by this time I'm.shaking more and feel intimidated to go back ... I'm a woman just asking for a refund to feel intimidated by males who clearly have no respect for woman and how the service I general its to much to the lady to handle and rude service iv never had this before and definitely will not be wasitng my.mobey again on them I lost out wring order... was rudely spoke to and treated ... disgusting.... shame ... we used you alot once ......
Read moreIf you order from here please go through JustEat. Every time I’ve ordered through them I’ve had great service and food has been great. They keep sending letters with the food to say order through their app so save money - so I decided to do that today. I ordered 1 strawberry cheesecake and two oreo - what I received was 2 strawberry and one oreo. When I called them I was told that was the last oreo cheesecake and that’s why they sent 2 strawberry instead. I told them they should’ve called me to ask or give me the option and the lady agreed, but refused to accept this was a mistake and would not give me a partial refund unless I brought the cheesecakes to the shop. I’m obviously not going out of my way and wasting fuel over a cheesecake and silly mistake, and it’s clear they wouldn’t give me a partial refund so I hung up. If this had happened through JustEat I’d be able to get a partial refund without even calling anybody! My mother said her strawberry cheesecake was frozen and not edible which is disappointing too. Because I enjoyed their food in the past I will order again, but always through JustEat from now on. If I was a first time customer this would be enough to stop me from buying...
