WORST RESTAURANT IVE BEEN TO YET! Understaffed, flavourless food - whoever is cooking cant cook mate. Ordered fries and chicken sis: Fries was undercooked Was informed no chicken sish in stock (at 8:30pm) after undercooked fries was served
Slowest service ever! Clearly understaffed, waiters consisted of sexist men and overworked women. The men would take orders and shout at the women to clean up their tables that they were serving; while these women were serving their own tables. At times, the men would sit w the customers and drink tea while ordering the women to pick orders up who fyi were BUSY DOING THEIR OWN JOB! Clearly theres no professionalism within the staff, no equality and no food to serve.
I waited on my food for 75minutes, waiting is not a problem imo however when the food arrives half cooked and no flavour (im talking no salt) will obvi piss me and other customers off. While i waited my turn to chat to the manager he was busy shouting at the female waiters and dealing with other angry customers.
Also pro tip for the manager/boss, you should enforce a dress code to ALL YOUR STAFF - MEN INCLUDED. I was a bit confused why the women were dressed in all black but the men were serving me in a furry dhgate blue essentials hoodie and beige cargos. With their coats on. The looks werent giving.

Read moreAfter receiving a recommendation from friends, we decided to visit Mawlawi Restaurant on Soho Road. Parking outside was somewhat sparse. Upon entering, we were warmly greeted by the friendly owner, and there was ample seating available.
The restaurant uses a QR code for viewing the menu, which proved challenging for me due to my poor eyesight, so my partner had to assist with reading. We ordered the lamb shank and the sea bass fish. Complimentary soup was served, bursting with flavour, and both the sea bass and lamb shank were well-cooked, full of flavour, with generous portions. We also received complimentary naan breads, and the aubergine salad was cooked to perfection.
However, I noticed the restaurant was understaffed, with a single lady valiantly managing all tasks. Though complimentary tea was served at the end, the dishes remained uncleared from our table, and the waitress hurried off, which was a disappointment for me.
When we requested the bill, we were informed the total was £28 since we were paying in cash, which seemed very reasonable. However, no itemized bill or breakdown of charges was provided.
Would we visit again? The food is excellent and reasonably priced, but the service leaves much to...
Read moreWhile shopping on Soho Road with my family, we came across this clean and neat Kurdish restaurant. Parking you need any pocket roads. I have a few friends who are Kurdish, and I know they are highly friendly, modern, non-religious and very secular, and well-known for their hospitality. Therefore, I decided to go and try some Kurdish food. As anticipated, two friendly Kurdish girls greeted us, gave us the menu, assisted us, and described the various dishes. We ordered mixed chicken and lamb Kurdish Quozi, kebabs, Ayran yoghurt, coke, aubergine and beans soups etc.
Freshly cooked big naan breads, complimentary lentil soup, lots of rice, and salad are included with every meal order. Food was superb, but I was unable to finish it all, though, and I wonder how the Kurdish guys eat so much(kidding). Following the meal, you will receive free specially flavoured black tea. The most important thing was the price; we paid just £8 per person for such a fantastic meal. Well done, Kurdish people who owns the restaurant and the restaurant's girls who served us. I am sure you are doing this as a service rather than just a way to make money. I will visit again with my...
