Slow slow slow.....this site needs a massive change. My visit last night was the worst experience I've ever had in a mcdonalds let alone any fast food restaurant. A shift manager that seemed to have no control over the whole restaurant. A crew trainer who clearly had had enough of the night so far, looked frustrated with all going on around her(and to her defence was the only thing good about this visit) the rest of the staff look like they were on a different planet or on drugs. Can't explain it in any other way.
I arrived around 8pm and eventually left at 8.30pm. This was a quiet time on 7.2.2017.
Ordered a wrap, double cheeseburger and a large latte. The crew trainer served me at the till and what was noticeable was that she was on her own. My order was taken after 10 minutes after I entered the site. I can live with that.
What I do not understand is why is the staff member on the till going round to to the cook line to make my wrap?
At this point the drain brain of a team member turned up at the till. A mixture of I don't care/ I don't want to be here and possibly stoned is the best way to describe him. I don't think training will help and would be a complete waste of resources and money.
He was asked to do one job for my order. Make a latte. The milk ran out first of all. Instead of using another machine which I know they have he slowly went to get more milk and top up the machine. He did that, cleaned himself down with blue roll and started of the latte again (5mins have passed and nearly 20mins since I first arrived) Then the machine broke down again but this was no concern to him as he was now serving two paramedics who had just arrived. He served these two paramedics and went off to collect their order. Completed their order. Well done young man! Then the crew trainer noticed I had still not got my coffee. She told the space cadet to get it done. So he reset the machine to try and top up my latte. It broke again.
He eventually realised there was another machine and went round to get my latte from there. That ran out of milk so off he went and got some more milk to sort out the problem. I assumed that was that but still no coffee. He was about to serve another customer and I had to ask him to get my coffee before he served anybody else as this is getting to be beyond a joke. So guess what he turned to the machine that was broken and tried to top up my original coffee he had started nearly a 5mins ago.
I was about to lose my temper in a big way and had to step away from the counter and this was noticed by the crew trainer who firstly apologised then offered something in compensation for time wasted which I declined. I would not have had time at this point to eat or drink anything else nor have time to wait for it to be served.
A few minutes later a latte was served to me. Not really a good latte (think the machine needs cleaning)more of a white americano. Regular in size in a large cup but at this point I actually had a hot drink and hadn't the time to complain.
At this point I've been there for 30mins or more. This site should be an embarrassment to McDonald's. The worst I've...
Read moreWould give 0 stars if possible never had an experience like this before with staff as rude as they were! Stood waiting to pay for my order at the counter for a good 10 minutes in which one member of staff looked at me multiple times and completely ignored my presence because him and the other members of staff were too busy bad mouthing a previous customer by the drive through window which is already completely unprofessional! There being 1 other person in the whole of the restaurant waiting For food and at least 4-5 staff members standing gossiping but I continued to silently wait for someone to take my order after some time had passed who I assumed to be the manager came out to join the gossip then seeing me asked the member of staff that had saw me waiting there all this time “is this customer waiting to order” in which he replied in a condescending manner “I don’t know why don’t you go and ask her yourself” I could not believe what I had heard and told them not to worry about the food I wanted to order then left the restaurant and drove to the nearest other McDonald’s restaurant being the fort where I was met by staff who were extremely busy but came up to serve me straight away with such a friendly manner may I add being very apologetic about my previous experience There were 2 staff members that were absolutely rushed off their feet with orders but still managed to give the best and quickest customer service and credits to them. I’m disappointed and disgusted with the way I have been treated and having family that are very high in the McDonald’s corporation I will be informing them of this and returning to get the name of this very...
Read moreNot even worthy of 1 star I ordered via the app today for collection Returned home, only a 5 minute journey. Fries missing, incorrect amount of nuggets in box, 2 cokes in stead of 1 been a diet coke, and all food cold. I immediately phones the store, spoke to manager on duty, told to return to store with order so I can collect a full correct fresh order, plus a couple of free desserts for the inconvenience. No problem I thought. Upon returning to store with my incorrect cold order, the manager on duty ( who I know is the assistant manager) explained he would only replace what was missing and that in future I am responsible for ensuring my order is correct. I politely informed him that he had told me to return the whole order for a fresh order. I explained that everything was cold and I would like what he said a fresh order. The manager on duty then explained it is my responsibility to ensure the order i have paid for is correct! I asked why should I have to open my food and count chicken nuggets. He said it is the customer's responsibility to check the order is correct, he persisted to argue with me and I just politely asked for my order to be correct, fresh and hot. Macdonalds poor customer service,I am aware that human error can be made but really, do I have to count chicken nuggets!! And do you usually serve cold food. Will never...
