I’ve ordered from the previously & had a lot of issues, mainly the mannerism and how they treat their customers! Absolutely rude! They always seem to mess up on the order & not add the extra things you pay for! Previous experience at this place i decided not to go from there as I ordered a collection, went to pick up the food went home & it‘a the wrong order so I phoned them up saying if anyone can deliver the food to me now as it’s the wrong order, they started arguing with me & ended up cutting the phone on me which had me going! So I had to call my neighbour for the 2nd time to look after the kids! I went to the shop and the lady with the scarf started giving me attitude like it’s her dad’s place so I asked her if it’s her dad’s place & her response was how do you know it’s not my dad place! Firstly love let me tell you if it was your dad’s place trust me you wouldn’t be working there!! I eventually got my refund after arguing with her! I’ve decided to not to go back.
After 4 months yesterday my family decided to order food from there thinking they’ll give them a try for iftaar meal, I ordered for delivery at 7:30! Well before iftaar time, it indicated food should arrive for 9:00 in time, I prayed and food has not arrived yet, I kept calling they didn’t answer the phone on purpose! At 9:15 got fed up went to the shop to see, as I went there and asked about my food they said it’s just getting ready! I had placed the order at 7:30 to my disgust the food was still not prepared for! I had to wait till 9:55 for my food! A normal order of 5 people 5 meals took them 3 hours almost to make. I paid for delivery and service charge was £7 delivery fee £2.50. Through uber eats.
The service at this place is horrendous aswell as the attitude of the staff. Yesterday the lady wearing the scarf, I over heard the conversation between her and another staff, that person had asked her about an order and her response was she doesn’t know. Why do you have incompetent people working at your place for!!
After yesterday we won’t be ordering from this place ever again regardless! I rather do a journey to Hodge Hill Rios and get better service and treatment.
Oh and yes again yesterday there was items missing in our meal which we paid extra for!

However this time they were unbelievably slow compared to the 15 large meals that we ordered across the street before ordering a few at Rios and then were prepared even earlier than Rios. This visit worsened when they prepared 2 milkshakes for us and then let them sit melting away with the lack of care they have for their abysmal costumer service. Finally when the 20 prolonged minutes came to an end, the meals were prepared in the bare and empty store along with the milkshakes now being disgustingly goopy and tacky. I confronted the manger about the appalling meals that he’s just handed to us. I included that online orders were more prioritised to costumers and that if it were another take away place that they’d replace our dreadful milkshakes. The manger definitely knew his rights from his wrongs, as he was a mature old man, but they clearly didn’t show tonight, as all he could do was smile at all the complaints that I had to say. I asked him what he was going to do about it, but he shrugged his shoulders to then reply with him having a word with his staff. I would highly recommend staying away from this shop, unless you love having to wait 20 minutes in an empty shop for your meal. I can only imagine however long you’d have to wait if it was...

I called up the store explaining to them I had found a female's hair in my meal, the male employee did not seem bothered and replied "okay", I explained that it was hygiene issue, again, his only response was "okay". I was unable to speak to a manager in store. The employee did not listen to what I had to say, instead he cut the phone on me.
The thought of Rio's treating their costumers the way I was treated is repellent.
Rio's it is not okay for your food standard hygiene to be so poor. All employees should have their hair covered, to avoid stray hairs in areas where food is being prepared or served.
Stray hairs, is also usually an indicator, to poor food hygiene.
Finally, never should an employe reply "okay" when a costumer is explaining to them that they have found a strand of hair in their food and the store is at fault.
Rio's please can you deal the employee who thought it was okay to be dismissive and cut the phone on me!
