As someone who can't support local/ independent businesses enough, I remember when Morridge was just a bike trailer in the Great Western Arcade in 2018, so to see them open a second branch really warms my heart. Both Morridge and The Courtyard have such a friendly, calm atmosphere and just feel like home, the staff are so friendly and welcoming, the decor is so cosy and comfortable, and the food options are always so filling and delicious. I'm so happy they do yoga classes and have a run club as well, I only wish the yoga was more than once a month! I recommend Morridge porridge to so many people so often - we all need more colourful wholesome food and chill vibes in our lives ❀

I recently visited this cafĂ© and had a great experience. The place is spacious, cozy, and has a unique interior that really adds to the atmosphere. It's definitely a comfortable spot to hang out and have long conversations. I ordered an iced latte and a slice of chocolate cake. The iced latte was delicious — smooth and well-balanced. The cake was a bit too sweet for my personal taste, but that’s just a matter of preference. Overall, the food and drinks are quite affordable, which makes the experience even better. This cafĂ© is definitely a great spot to relax and catch up with friends. Highly recommended!

Decent enough porridge, but nothing mind-blowing sadly. Lots of the menu was unavailable. The tap water there is truly dire (only minor but really dry). When you enter the courtyard, there's a handwritten sign on one of the doors saying 'OPEN' which gives really bad first impressions, then you open the door to PVC plastic strips which you can't even see through. Not at all welcoming. No menu on all tables.

Hugely disappointed. The alcoholic drinks were very poor quality and taste, nothing special.

The wine glass had something floating at the bottom, which was gross, and the wine itself was cheap tasting.

Very disappointed with my first, and last visit. Avoid the place to avoid disappointment, there's far better alternatives locally if you want a decent drink, especially for the price, I expected far better quality.

It's just a place for hipsters who don't know what good beverages should taste like. Zero stars would be more...
