We were so happy when we saw this Asian food place in the market. We were so wrong. We ordered char Kway teow. Asked for non spicy. The lady said she would bring it to the seating area for us

It was the worst char kway teow that I’ve ever had. The picture shows it with flat rice noodles. Ours came with yellow noodles mixed into it. It was a little on the salty side. There was a lot of paste in it. It was too gooey. We asked for non spicy but they came with a dollop of really spicy green stuff.

Portion a tad on the small side. Bit expensive considering its inside the market.

I had laksa before and it tastes good. This time I had char Kway teow and the prawns cooked were just perfect. If the rice noodle was not broken into small pieces then it’s perfect.
