The shops in this retail park are great, but the parking situation is very frustrating. You're only allowed 3 hours of free parking, which is not nearly enough time if you're visiting multiple stores. What's worse, there is no clear signage when you enter from the main road—nothing to indicate that the entire area is considered a single car park.
The layout is quite confusing, especially with a large roundabout connecting different sections. If you park near TK Maxx and then move to Sainsbury's, it still counts as one continuous stay, even though it feels like separate zones. Everything is monitored by automatic number plate recognition (ANPR) cameras, so if you go over 3 hours, you’ll likely receive a fine.
This feels like daylight robbery. If shoppers are spending money at multiple businesses, why penalise them for staying a little longer? It discourages people from shopping leisurely and enjoying the retail experience. Euro Car Parks needs to be more transparent and fair—this setup feels deliberately misleading.
Best to avoid this place, as the stores don’t do anything to help if you get fined. They seem aware of the issue but take no responsibility, leaving customers to deal with it...
Read moreIts a shopping centre at trinity street. Usual chain stores in similar buildings found all over the country. Bolton town centre is a great place to visit for charity shops, bookmakers and pubs...if thats your thing. The vaults and market place are the jewel of this once thriving town centre...the rest of it needs totalling remodelling. The local council have a habit of pulling down the old buildings that added character to the town centre so now it looks like a mix of 60's and 70's buildings that they throw money at to improve...the words polishing and turd spring to mind. Invest in what could be a great town centre again and if you really want to continue demolishing old buildings i would recommend starting at bank st and not stopping until you come to the end of bradshawgate. Make Boltonians proud of their town and its centre once again and attract a mix of big name stores as well as small independent businesses instead of the usual...
