I recently had the pleasure of dining at Don Tacos Mexican Grill in Bolton, and I can't recommend it highly enough! From the moment we walked in, we were greeted with warm smiles and an inviting atmosphere. The restaurant’s vibrant décor, filled with authentic Mexican touches, sets the perfect mood for a delightful culinary experience.

The food was simply outstanding! Every dish we ordered was bursting with flavor and made with the freshest ingredients. The tacos were a particular highlight—perfectly seasoned meat, fresh toppings, and tortillas that were just the right amount of soft and chewy. The guacamole was some of the best I've ever had, creamy and packed with a perfect balance of lime and cilantro.

What really stood out to me was the level of care and attention to detail. The staff went above and beyond to make sure our dining experience was exceptional. They were attentive, knowledgeable about the menu, and genuinely seemed to enjoy what they do.

Overall, Don Tacos Mexican Grill is a true gem in Bolton. Whether you're a fan of Mexican cuisine or just looking for a great place to enjoy a meal with friends or family, this is the place to go. I will definitely be returning soon to explore more of their...

So here's a hidden gem that's been hiding in plain sight. From the outside it looks like any other takeaway in Bolton town centre, however had a hankering for Mexican cuisine so decided to try it and walked over not sure what to expect. Inside the staff weren't very talkative but informed us there were no physical menus, we sit at a table (there's about 4) scan the qr code and can order on there. The girl did tell us any questions just ask. It took an age and the Web page was painfully slow, but eventually we'd ordered birria and a quesedilla dish. Also a couple of authentic Mexican sodas, pineapple and a nicely balanced lime. When the plates arrived they looked a little small and I thought I'd still be hungry afterwards. I was wrong. I couldn't finish it, heavenly though it was. Wonderfully fresh and flavourful, the cream, the salsa, the guac - fantastic. The birria my wife had was outstanding. Couple of drinks two plates and a sharer of tortilla chips and salsa came in at just under £30. It sounds steep, the surroundings a little non descript and lifeless, but the food, the food!!! Food alone would be 5 stars, let down only by the functional and slightly stark atmosphere....

I REALLY wanted to like this place. As an ex-pat Mexican living in the UK for over 20yrs, I've been excited by the growth of Mexican eateries in Manchester. I recently moved to Bolton and was keen to try this place as the reviews were positive. We were given complimentary chips and salsa while we waited for two orders of soft tacos. My heart sank. The chips were terrible and cheap, and the salsa... from a jar or plastic bottle. The tacos arrived and the presentation was fine so I thought, ok, this isn't so bad... While everything tasted ok together, it wasn't great. My dining partner's smoked chicken felt old and rubbery. My carne asada (grilled steak) was cold. The salsa on my tacos was the chilli sauce you normally get on doner kebabs. I powered through, after all I'd paid £7.50 for my lunch! As soon as I'd finished I got that telltale upset stomach feeling that something wasn't right. It stayed with me all day. I'm giving them 2 stars because the tacos stayed put and I survived the night. I think there's appetite for authentic Mexican food in Bolton, unfortunately Don...

i recently visited Don Tacos and had an amazing experience! The menu offered a wide variety of taco options, from traditional beef and chicken to more adventurous choices. I opted for the classic birria tacos, and they were delicious. The meat was seasoned perfectly, and the toppings were fresh and flavorful. The tortillas were soft and warm, adding to the overall enjoyment of the meal. The service was excellent; the staff were friendly and attentive, making sure we had everything we needed. Overall, it is a fantastic spot for taco lovers, and I highly recommend giving it a try!

here’s what’s left of the two soft shell tacos i had , didn’t get to take a photo before hand because it looked too good. Great food, the guacamole was refreshing and had great taste, the meat was tender and had a really good flavour. the food was out quick and i ate it even quicker. the Mexican themed walls and decoration is a great touch and adds to the atmosphere. with the choices of toppings laid out and the sizzling of the meat in the kitchen the atmosphere is great. I loved the food and would eat again.
