Simpson Fried Chicken Farnworth — Restaurant in Bolton

Ordered food tonight hot wing (HOT WINGS ) LARGE DONNER PIZZA AND HASH BROWNS it came and I opened the pizza to serve my kids and its was freezing the tomato base under the cheese was freezing so I assumed it was maybe because they was waiting for the hot wings so it may have been left so I opened the hot wings and again right to the middle they was freezing and smelt of fish I'm feeling sick as I'm writing this. The Donner meat cold I don't know if they forgot us or they forgot the hash browns because the only thing that was hot was the hash brown they was burning hot but like mush like a greasy box of mush we did not eat one bit of it. I rang to complain and the guy was saying the driver got back to the shop 5 mins so u had your order for 10 mins so its going to be cold . I said so if that's the case why are the hash browns still roasting . he just basically wouldn't have it and in the end offered a 7inch pizza for free? Hmmm no thank you I probably already got food poisoning from the food that I tried . we will never go here again I hope this one comment is enough to make even one customer make a different decision about where they order from but please don't order from here . I'm warning you in advance for your own safety and to save u disappointment . thank you for reading .if you are reading I know its because you want a nice tasty takeaway that's hot cooked and polite but be assured this definitely is not...

Totally shocking customer service from what I believe is the owner/manager. Ordered two 3 piece chicken meals and asked for all legs in one of the meals if they can but knowing most chicken shops you should get at least 2/3 legs out of 6 pieces of chicken especially after asking for legs. Food arrived and got 1 leg out of 6 pieces. Totally shocking as I only eat legs so rang up to complain who weren't really interested in listening or apologetic. Was so angry I took the remaining 4 pieces of chicken and fries to complain in person. One person in the shop was understanding and tried to give me some more legs but that was not why I went to complain and refused the food when another person from the shop turning around and moaning about giving me the food as I only brought some food back and shouldn't give me a fresh batch even though I had already turned it down. The manger/owner was rude obnoxious and didn't give a damn and customers complaints. Just as I explained if I order something like a burger or shesh kerbab or anything else they cook it so if I order chicken legs and it takes 15 mins to cook and my delivery time is already gonna take 45 mins I'm sure they should cook food to a paying customer standards of what they want...

26th January 2024 There has been a notable decline in the quality of Simpsons having ordered from here for several years. Over recent months the decline is evident with the food quality dropping off, the regular drivers appear to have moved on and the general service is of a much lower quality.

Food has taken a sharp increase like most other outlets, but at the same time the quality is far below the standard normally delivered by Simpson's. Tonight was the final straw for us, ordered food at 18:50, accepted at 19:00 with the usual 30 minute expectation. Driver rocked up at 20:30 with stone cold food and NOT in a warm bag. Given the time and the food being inedible, it went straight in the bin. We won't return at this stage, it's starting to feel very much like the food could become a risk if it's sitting around on a car seat for 90 minutes whilst the drivers make multiple drop off's.

I must say it's a shame to see an establishment fall down so rapidly from being a reliable, trusted and valued food provider...
