Sorento — Restaurant in Bolton

This evening ordered a our meals at 18.18 at 19.18 (there abouts) we phoned up to enquire about where our order was, baring in mind the guy taking the order didn't give us an estimate delivery time. An hour is generous enough for what we ordered plus living just over a mile away it's not exactly far to drive for delivery. The guy sounded like he had no recollection of our address (I.e order) and 15 mins later it arrived. The food was cold, hadn't received to extra sauce pots we ordered so called back to ask for them, was told be sent our straight away.... over 20 mins later phone up and apparently the sauce "is on its way" so take my kebab out the over (where i was trying to keep it warm) reheated the stone cold chips enough was enough 1hr40 mins after ordering finally give in and eat my meal without the sauce I ordered to a company it, it was tasteless, chicken was mainly grisle and swimming on the cardboard naan bread again which we paid extra for!!! 40mins after phoning for the sauce guy turns up "was told to deliver this" yea mate 40 mins to damn late keep it and tell your boss he won't be having our business again! Disgusting service and...

Had ordered, via UberEats, a few times. Basic take away food, nothing particularly special, but it's open quite late, so handy when everywhere else is closed. Had an unprofessional and rude delivery driver inform us that he'd driven 9.3 miles to get to us (it's just over 3 miles from Farnworth to Boothstown, so utter nonsense) and we were too far for delivery, but told him UberEats had them as delivering to here, so wasn't a problem...UNTIL we ordered last night, delivery turns up, another very unprofessional and rude delivery driver insists on being paid £2 extra, even though the delivery fee had already been paid through UberEats. He said "the boss" insisted on it, because no drivers would take the food. We told him to tell "the boss" he shouldn't be on UberEats or other apps if it says they deliver to the area, but insist on extra money when they do. Highly unprofessional drivers with awful attitudes and, tbh, the food isn't worth their extra delivery charge (who knows if the driver pocketed it or not, but when delivery had already been paid for, seems unprofessional that they'd insist on more). Definitely would...

Poor service, incomplete orders on multiple occasions and rude, lazy staff.

They missed an item on an order but I decided to order again a couple of weeks later to give them the benefit of the doubt. Surprise surprise, another item missed. The man on the phone, who could barely string a sentence together, fobbed me off to someone else. She didn’t even apologise, said the missing item would be with me in 10 mins, I ended up waiting another half hour. Only consolation is the delivery driver apologised. S. O. R. R. Y. See, not such a difficult word is it?!

I certainly won’t be making the mistake of giving them another penny of my money in return for such rank service and I suggest you don’t either.
