Came across this restaurant by accident. We were driving around and saw there was a space outside so we pulled up to get our bearings. Seeing this restaurant we decided to give it a try.
It was very quiet inside so we were free to sit where we wanted. The place was bright and airy and looked clean and tidy. A trip to the disabled toilet showed how clean the establishment was. Various menus presented to us with lunch time offers, set meals, etc available. There is an early bird menu as well running during the week but this is more aimed at late afternoon and early evening diners. Best to check directly beforehand if you plan on visiting.
Prices were reasonable. A large bottle of Singa lager was £5.95, A lemonade only £2.50. Thai prawn crackers and side order of rice both only £3.50. The only thing we thought was expensive was the Mixed Starter. This was £19.00 or £9.50 each and dearer than many main meals. However, it was good. Loved the home made satay sauce. So were our mains. And pretty good portions as well.
To properly judge this place I would like to go back at a later time when it would be busier. But based on this visit if we are in St Anne’s again looking for a Thai meal we would be happy to...
Read moreWe went here on Thursday early evening around 6pm there was only three other couples in the place. At first we thought it maybe OK as it wasn't busy. Then soon realised the food took ages to come and that was just the starter three chicken wings smallest I have ever seem and my wife had three of those frozen very small veg spring rolls. Once we finished our starter I had to go and ask where the main course was we waited over 40 minutes the guy who worked there spent to much time with another couple telling where he lived and what he gets up to and didn't even realise he had other customers. He finally realised after I had been up asking where are food was, he finally took our starter plates away. I had three pieces of beef in my dish but was sure it was beef it was very pale in colour. My wife green curry was really runny. When we pay the bill the guy didn't bother to say good bye which I found really rude because it was his mistake not ours will not be going back yo this restaurant again. I would recommend the Chinese take aways in Lytham St Annes there really good and good quality products...
Read moreOrdered the banquet for £30 per person. The starters were basic, nothing special and tasted shop brought. The chicken satay was really chewy and overcooked. The vetatable parcels were undercooked and the veg inside hard. The dips were not fresh and one tasted as if it had gone way past its sell by date. The main courses were just OK but nothing to make you want to go back. We were given rice which was cold and sent it back but they fetched out the main courses between got the rice back! We had to ask for the rice which had been reheated in the microwave. We had to ask for knifes , forks and spoons to eat with on more than one occasion. The service here is shocking. The satff argue in front of the customers. Its unpleasant. The food isn't very nice, it's served cold. Will not return to this restaurant again. Overpriced...
