Costa Coffee Drive Thru — Restaurant in Borough of Fylde

Edit: This issue has now been fixed. Updated to 5 stars, bathroom is cleaner too, brilliant place to go for a coffee. The others crying over overfilled drinks need to touch grass. Can't expect people to make no mistakes and all you have to do is say, "Excuse me, my drink's overfilled" and like magic, the server will remake your drink.

The coffee, staff and atmosphere is brilliant. I'm an avid writer and come here often to work on my short stories. Even at home, I don't work as well as I do here and that comes from the quality coffee, staff and establishment.

(Now fixed) Only reason I haven't given this 5 stars, is because of the toilets. They're often dirty and as you'll see in the picture, half the floor is missing in the main toilet. Even though it's marked, there's quite a glaring trip hazard. I'm surprised it hasn't been fixed.

Other then that,...

It can get very busy and there isn’t a lot of seating to meet demand. Lot a of tables are left with crumbs and liquids. Seem to be more interested serving the drive through. Drive can cause long waits. They use the headsets just to chat and it makes them slower. One female server took ten minutes to make my cold drink. She stopped to chat to other servers and help take orders to the drive through with the headset, stopped to wash the jug in dirty water then without cleaning her hands she slipped her finger inside my cup.

One time I waited at an empty counter for ten minutes. Looked around the corner at the drive through window to a young male was leaning on the counter watching video on his phone, he mouthed f’ off when he saw me looking at him. Majority of...

I have visited many times and normally ok, on a par with other Costas. However, not today. They seem to have different staff, not the usual happy and nice staff. The person who made my drink was in her own world, as if making your drink was a favour. The girl who served my food was pleasant back when I said thank you, it was as if it came as a surprise to her. The tables were dirty, many with trays of dirty cups etc. in the 30 minutes I was there no one came to clear them. It was not too busy, and there were times there was no queue. Sad really, it used to be nice. Don’t use the toilets, not clean either. There was also quite a lot of food on the floor. Now I know this is caused by customers, so perhaps that is the issue. Will give this one a pass...
