How the mighty have fallen.

This place was actually top three for burgers on my list when I last went almost four years ago. I’ve been putting off coming here because I didn’t want to get used to it. I was finally in the area and thought I’d pop by for a cheat meal. I ordered the same as I did last time but on arrival, boy did it look different. The chicken was burnt around the edges, the bun was burnt, the chips were... you guessed it, burnt. Giving them the benefit of the doubt, I tucked in. The homemade chips sounded amazing on the menu. After a few bites in and the oil hit me hard. Way too much oil. Cholesterol levels are on an all time high. Sliding the v-power unleaded chips to the side, I began to chisel off the burnt sections. The burger itself was actually nice, good blend of ingredients but the chicken was hard (no surprises there), beef was slightly cold and the bun was more fragile than a teenagers broken heart. I got the level 1 this time but if I had gotten the level 5, that’s an astonishing number of patties that this weak, malnourished bun was gonna try and contain. Whoever can finish a level 5 without losing their dignity deserves some sort of medal.

All in all, the food was decent. Was it as good as before? No. Was it worth the price? Questionable. They need to fix up the small things and Bumba’s...

Called in Bumba's grill with a mate just by the off chance because we were in the area and obviously hungry. Went it was shown to a table and given menu's so good service. The food we had on the other hand I wouldn't recommend at all. I ordered BBQ Chicken wings as a starter what I got was Peri Peri chicken wings with a drizzle of bbq sauce. I ordered a so called prime steak strips and chips for my main what I got was little tiny cut up pieces of meat with grilled onions and fries. Got a ferrero rocher cheese cake which was ok. "Only reason for the 1⭐️ for food. My mate ordered the mix griller which had all been smothered in a sauce Seriously who wants Lamb chops and peri peri chicken wings with seek kebab and texas chicken that all tastes the same ???...

Can't comment on the service or atmosphere as we ordered a takeaway to be delivered. The humous was a small bowl of grease which we didn't eat. Tasted absolutely horrible. And after eating the grilled chicken I was up all night with stomach trouble and sickness. The same the next day, stomach cramps, stomach trouble and sickness.

Put me off takeaway for life! Definitely gave me food poisoning Would not recommend. We chose this place as it had good reviews online. Wasted good money on this and ruined the evening...
