I visited on a Friday night not and it was not very busy The service was really nice did not overcrowd you constantly asking did you want more drink or anything else food was really nice for a starter i had the prawn kaju something I had not had before and it was really nice not over spiced little bit of salad on the side My wife had the chicken pakora and she said again really nice Main course 1s again I went for a prawn dish the signature Lassoni Mirch zhinga and again very nice decent sized prawns again not over spiced you got a nice balance of heat then could taste the prawns at the same time My wife had a chicken patia and again she said it was really nice The sides cooked nicely as well Rice bombay aloo Garlic naan Onion Bhaji Drinks are not to badly priced 4.95 for a bottle of magnors My wife had a couple of vodka and cokes We will definitely return as for 2 people to have a good meal and drinks cost £70 with the service and the food was really good

Visited this restaurant for the 2nd time. This is a true gem with stunningly delicious food, at remarkable value, served by lovely husband and wife team. This has got to be up there with some of the best food I've tasted. The tandoori panner was excellent in both presentation and flavour. Thank you both and compliments to your Chef for a great experience.

I highly recommend this gorgeous little gem of a restaurant in Ashford. The food is fabulous, the atmosphere is friendly and the service is great! I had the Nepalese national dish and can't wait to have it again 👍👍👍👍

I've been to the Soaltee a couple of times in the last two weeks. I didn't dine in but I collected my takeaways from the restaurant. Firstly, I should say that the restaurant is busy and all the diners looked really happy. The owner and staff were very friendly and professional, but not creepy as is sometimes the case.

On the first occasion, I'd ordered the Samundari Parikar seafood curry and I was disappointed. It was quite expensive, but the only sealife that I could find were prawns - a good portion of prawns but I'm not a fan and it wasn't what I was expecting. I'd had an excellent fish curry elsewhere that week and I thought that perhaps I'd just ordered the wrong dish. My wife had a Chicken Korma, rice and sag paneer that was fine.

Last night they were busy again. I'd ordered chicken tikka, rices and sag paneer for two. We really enjoyed our food, it was excellent and I'm really looking forward to coming back next week. Shout out to the lady who took my cash. I gave her £60 instead of £30 and she quickly told me I'd messed up and gave me my money back. Thank...

This is the second time we have visited for a meal here, and I have to say, quality has started to drop. The first time we ate here it was amazing on quality, quantity and flavour, but alas even though we said on that first night, please don’t change any of these things it is clear this is not the 5 star place it once was.

Main problems were dry chicken breast that seemed like it was cooked the day before being sliced and simply added to the sauce, hardly any in there. Lamb quality not as good, tougher meat. This should not happen, I know it’s making more profit for the resturant but it should be lovely chunky pieces of juicy chicken cooked in your curry not added after.

We also had a real problem with the lack of dimension to any of the dishes, all spices not just chilli were missing. It was bland not just mild, where as before it had great depth of spice upon spice...
