Wimpy — Restaurant in Borough of Spelthorne

This was a blast from the past! First time I've visited a Wimpy since I was a child and I have to admit, I was excited. Unfortunately, my trip was slightly disappointing. I ate the vegan burger which was delicious (the vegan options were decent full stop. Getting vegetarian/vegan fast food can prove tricky). I cant fault the burger, but I can fault the cost. Over £7 for the burger alone, and had to add another fiver to make it a meal (for a 7up to which they'd forgotten to add the syrup and a small portion of nondescript chips) which makes it a hefty £13 per person for a meal, which for this price, for me, should only be paid for the upper end of fast food. For that cost, the meal was far too basic, and I left feeling slightly ripped off. To add insult to injury, I was hungry again about...

£9.60 for a 'bacon&Cheese' quarter pounder, fries and large Pepsi, not good value for money in my opinion (GBK has much better quality burger and fries for the same price) If you are South African and wondering if it delivers the same consistency of food from Wimpy in SA, then just forget it, doesn't come close. (Dont get me wrong, the food was fresh and the restaurant spotless with well timed service and friendly staff, but it was a rip off with cheap burger ingredients) (they are charging premium price for a lower than premium burger). The fries are good though, but you can't exactly muckup...

Not enough stars for me to give 🌟🌟. I've been to many places across the UK and this is the best. Food was fantastic...... including dessert. Staff were so polite and helpful it was a pleasure to be in there. (No moaning when I requested more sugars and butter). Restaurant is super clean including the ladies which is even better. 9.9 places I've visited the toilets are disgusting and seating areas are fowl. I can't believe this place isn't top on Google search and the place isn't super busy... what's happening. Definitely a revisit very soon. Thanks guys what a lovely day my friend...
