Two Brothers Fish House — Restaurant in Borough of Spelthorne

As soon as I walked in I could tell this wasn’t your normal fish and chip shop! The decor and seating area were a level above any other fish and chip shop I’ve visited. It had a diner feel to it.

The food itself was amazing - the grilled fish and chips was tasty, well grilled and seasoned with good spices.

The batter on the cod had a unique and tasty flavour and the chips were cooked well and a generous portion.

The 1/2lb burger was filling and topping selection was on par with five guys.

Battered sausage was also 10/10.

Will definitely be visiting again soon!

Staff were polite and the owner took time to speak to us and find out a little about us as we were first time visitors.

Had a nice family feel...

I have been to Two Brothers a few times over the past year and it has always served up fresh and beautifully cooked fish and chips. Tonight I got a takeaway and the fish was dry and chewy, the batter was not as light and crispy as usual, and the chips were so greasy. I couldn’t finish my meal and now feel sad that this place may have changed hands as it was a favourite spot in the area. I’m hoping it was an off night as I’m not sure I’ll return 🙁

My late Grandad loved having his fish and chips from this place, so it seemed like the natural choice when trying to arrange catering for his wake. The only problem was that the wake was during the day, before Two Brothers opened. I called in advance and spoke to the owner and he was fantastic the whole way. He agreed to open up specifically for us to provide the food, we pre-ordered a few days before and it was delivered personally by the owner at the agreed time.
