The Greek Souvlaki — Restaurant in Borough of Spelthorne

The pitta bread the taziki and the chips were the best part of the meal! . The meat tasted very strange im pretty sure some of it was under cooked . Ended up throwing it in the bin it was either that or most likely throwing it up . Would not recommend this restaurant if this is actually the standard . I gave it a chance

Reply to owners response : I have eaten enough meat in my life to know when something tastes funny or dosent seem cooked it was one of the lamb skewers that didn't seem cooked on the inside as it was pink and smelled funny . Never said all of the meat wasn't cooked although most of it tasted strange . Me and my partner took advantage of the 40% off deal available on Uber eats which worked out very well because no way would I pay full price for what I received .a competitor???? Like I said I gave. Your restaurant a chance as a first time customer and had a bad experience. The fact you cannot take an HONEST REVIEW and you instantly dismiss it as false says alot about your character and the way you run your business. Food delivered quickly by Just Eat and smelled great on arrival. Went for the the Olympic mix Kalamaki, chicken nuggets and a Halloumi side. The halloumi was good and chips were nice. Unfortunately the meat was bland and had no real taste. We couldn’t taste any kind of marinade. Daughter said the nuggets were ‘ok’. Overall we were quite disappointed. I feel the food is a little overpriced and not as tasty as other reviews led us to believe. We were really looking forward to our first meal from here, but unfortunately we were underwhelmed.

Update. I appreciate your response, but I am not overreacting. Maybe no marinade is used, but there a definite lack of flavour. I understand good food and this wasn’t quite as good as expected. Next...

The worst experience ever!! Very disappointed and very rude customer service! Placed an order for 8.50pm and not received the food until 9.40pm! When food was received, it was stone cold. When called the restaurant, the owner refused to answer why the food was delayed and hung up the phone on me 2 times! Refused to pick up my calls and gave me wrong tracking information for the driver. Will never be ordering from this place again! Very rude and unprofessional with very disgusting attitude.
