I do not like giving bad reviews but something about the service really bugged me yesterday when visiting with my nieces.
Having waited 10 mins in line and the restaurant not being very busy you would at least expect a friendly service at the till.
The person taking the orders looked as though he may have been the owner/manager as he was not in uniform but honestly, he should not be behind the till serving customers with his attitude and lack of patience.
Ironically, he gave the customers in front of us a free desert and then decided to turn Jekyll and Hyde when we went to order! I'll explain:
Firstly, he rushed my nieces some of whom are 12 and under to place an order. I can completely understand you are trying to speed things up but there is a way in which you do this particularly with younger customers.
Secondly, we asked for waffles and he said it's a 30 minute wait. What kind of establishment are you running with capacity for 60+ people and 1 waffle machine?! It is honestly laughable :D
Finally, he kept his bad attitude going and after i had paid and he gave me my receipt, there was no acknowledgement or even a 'thank you for your order, it will take x minutes'.
Honestly, it was one of the worst customer service experiences i have witnessed and hence why i would like to make people aware before visiting...
Read moreI visited the store to collect a delivery tonight, but my experience was highly disappointing. Upon arrival, a worker informed me that the delivery is not ready and would take 10 minutes. I patiently waited for those 10 minutes. After the wait, I checked again, and a tall, slim worker with mustache and hoop earrings (Believe to be indian or Pakistani) rudely told me it would take an additional 30 minutes. I said i was told 10 minutes and now additional 30 minutes, anyway I have to cancel the delivery. (I never seen a delivery preparation take 30 minutes) please ask your security he was witness of this.
This was not my first poor experience with this same employee. Two days prior, I came to collect my delivery, and he simply told me, "The delivery is not ready, boss," with no idea how long it would take, this is what he said. His arrogance and lack of customer service skills were evident both times. He showed no effort to assist or provide proper information. I strongly urge the management to review this employee's performance. His behavior is not reflective of good customer service and damages the store’s reputation. I hope steps will be taken to improve customer experiences going forward. If he is the owner of the business or relative of the owner, then I guarantee he will damage the reputation of...
Read moreI’m not usually one to complain however I couldn’t believe what happened today . I turned up today for a friends birthday and went to the lady who seemed to be the manager asking what dairy-free ice cream they had. She said the chocolate whilst vegan can be contaminated from the mixing of scoops. I said this was fine as a little bit can’t hurt me. I then went up to the till (was not asked if I had an allergy) then asked for the VEGAN milkshake. The manager lady then came up to me and shouted at me for not saying I had an allergy however I had stated I wanted the milkshake vegan and I was not asked. The lady at the till then proceeded to lie and say that she did ask if I had an allergy but my two friends with me also said she did not ask if i had an allergy. She then gaslighted me into thinking she had actually asked when she defo didn’t. Later, my milkshake arrived however I’m not overreacting when I say it tasted like nesquick powder in water. And to add to that, later my friend ordered a chocolate milk however they neglected to say until after she paid and had sat down that they don’t stock it anymore. The lack of communication and insistence that I was wrong ruined my experience and I can safely say I would not return. My friends waffles and crepes looked good tho...
