Costa Coffee — Restaurant in Borough of Wyre

I frequently go to this Costa as its in my local town and I feel so disappointed to have to write a review like this. The staff have always been so nice there, but recently new staff are quite honestly awful. I haven't seen any of the other regular staff there for a while, and the place has gone down hill. Rude, bored looking staff. Unwilling to help, actually ignore the fact you're stood there. 4 female staff stood there chatting and only one serving. And when you do get served, the attitude of one young girl in particular is terrible, nothing short of a rude teenager. You may not like your job, and if you don't find another. But please stop being rude to the people who essentially pay your wages. Also, the cost has sky rocketed. £10.50 for 2 large hot chocolates!!!!!! Ridiculous. Won't be going there much anymore,...

There’s not a very nice man in there think his name is Phil , he’s quite rude to customers, i sat down with my coffee to take a sip and the milk was quite sour , I went and asked him if he could change and he then took a drink off the milk and said I’m front of everyone ‘it’s ok to me “ , I said well I wouldn’t make it up , but he seemed to want to argue and let himself be heard , he did eventually change it , but been in again today and heard him talking to customers like they where something he stepped in , I was waiting for my coffee to hear the poor customer say “ he shouldn’t talk to you like that “ , it seems he hasn’t got much customer service skills , and for that reason I will he looking to see if he’s working I won’t go in , the rest of the staff are really helpful and kind and go out of there...

Went in today for 2 drinks and cakes to sit in. I couldn’t believe how dirty the place was. Behind the counter was covered in coffee, the coffee machine looked like it had never been cleaned and the floors and tables weren’t much better. I was really shocked that it was full, it was surely not hygienic to be serving food. The girl serving as well was throwing things around like she didn’t care for the equipment, this is what made me look closer behind the counter. I won’t be back...
