Love the sourdough bread from here , especially the granary . Previous poster found the pies different to previous owners and I understand the recipe was not passed on by them , think the main difference is the water based Scottish pastry which I agree was nice , but Emily’s different take is very nice and the quality of all ingredients is apparent. I enquired a while back if they could make a reduced sugar cake for my Dad's birthday. They got back to me straight away with options. I ordered a chocolate cake which had been sweetened using dates. It was absolutely gorgeous and all the family loved it. It had a handpiped message and was really reasonably priced. Ohhh how lucky we were to stop in here. This place is a gem. We only stopped for a late breakfast and Emily's was very busy and rightfully so. What a fantastic bakery.
