The Travellers is a large Pub that might seem drab on first impressions. Its size is probably the reason refurbishment is done bit by bit so improvements aren't always noticed...

It's an old establishment with a lot of history. It's had several names over the years & is said to be haunted. The landlord Ken is an old school bar keeper who will gladly tell tales of sightings/unexplained incidents for those interested in the paranormal...

The Pub began serving food early 2018 & the chef is friendly, keen & determined to make it a success. The menu isn't too adventurous but very good value for price. All meals are homemade & served till 8pm most days. Sunday Roasts are excellent & bringing in customers...

Most nights it is quiet although Friday & Saturday there will be a DJ & local groups. Those nights see the Pub at its busiest. Lively & a later 1am licence (midnight all other nights)...

Don't expect glamour at the Travellers but it's a welcoming down to Earth old fashioned boozer with a vast selection of drinks. No shortage of choice to...

Was my first time at the Travellers rest. I cannot recommend it strongly enough! As a venue it's perfect! It's obvious just from talking to the locals. That the quality of live music Is consistently great. Making it a no brainer as an addition to any music fans local list of quality places to see fantastic live music. The pub is spacious without losing warmth of atmosphere. I can't speak highly enough of the staff who were warm, friendly helpful and efficient. And this friendly feeling extends itself on both sides of the bar! Everyone I spoke with had only good things to say of the pub. And landlord. it is a a great local resource. How dare they. i was using the VUE cinemas in Cleveleys, when one of their patrons threw their pint glass over the wall in my direction, landing at my feet and smashing. went inside, and spoke to the young gentleman on the bar wearing a cotton shirt, and told him what happened and all he could say was ok, when we asked to speak to the landlord we were told he would be in bed by now, at eight o'clock on a Sunday evening, he did nothing to find out who this person was and just stood there...
