Without doubt one of the worst levels of customer service I've experienced. Was visiting as part of a football adventure visiting Fleetwood Town, with my mother in law and father in law (who go around visiting as many Wetherspoons as they can). My mother in law thought she had ordered mushy peas with her food but when the order finally came (about 30 minutes later) the female waitress physically rolled her eyes and huffed when my mother in law kindly pointed out the wrong person were added to the order. The staff member went back into the kitchen then came out with the order and took pleasure in pointing out it was an error on my mother in law's side who simply selected the wrong option..When politely asked if there was anyway it could be changed she was told it would take over 30 minutes for this to happen. When my wife challenged this the member of staff started to become rude to the point we asked to speak to the manager but was told with a grin the manager will say the same. A couple of minutes later a male with sweat on his head, with ripped clothing approached us. When my wife asked if he was the manager he confirmed he was the duty manager. When asked for his name he straight away got on the defensive and said I don't have to give you this - not a great start when trying to deal or resolve a customer complaint. He stood at the end of the table with a worse attitude than the female member of staff. At no point did he acknowledge or apologise for the way we were spoken to and when my wife pointed this out he sarcastically said "I'm sorry". Without doubt the worst manager experience we have ever had. Witnessed in front of my 11 year old son. He then said you are more than welcome to leave. Then agreed to refund all our money and we left.
The attitude on both members of staff were disgusting and ruined what was suppose to be a really good day visiting a new football ground and spending time...
Read moreDon’t know what has happened to this place! Use to be a good cheap place to eat but in the past few months the place has gone down dramatically. I’ve witnessed favroutism with regulars being served before people that have been waiting a while, rudeness and cocky attitude from staff. Early in the morning a few times I’ve been in and most tables are covered with dirty plates with one person on the pub floor and one person behind the bar. Also at busy times staff memebers stood in the pot wash area chatting whilst people are waiting to be served. When ordering food things will be missing when it arrives then to be told they have ran out of it but didn’t think of telling us so we have the opportunity to pick something else. The place is going down hill very quickly and have lost some loyal customers that...
Read moreTypical wetherspoons of its type. Plenty of seating and a comfortable experience. Has a nice courtyard beer garden that's protected from the elements. The beer selection is always good and well served. I would give a higher rating if the food was consistent. The selection is good as are the prices but I have had mixed results when dining. Often times its not very hot and some items have been missing on occasion. They do make efforts to correct them when told and are always polite about it but coming from the trade myself I believe it should be right first time. Soggy chips and reheated burgers are not what I want. I have, in the interest of fairness, had some nice meals that were hot and well cooked and will return but please start paying attention to the small details that make a...
