Was absolutely starving, so popped into this takeaway, really wanted the zapiekanka, but the lady said it would take 20 minutes and I couldn't wait that long to eat lol so she recommended a hot meal, it was pierogi made from cheese, onion and potato with fried diced onions on top. Now, I know it doesn't look anything special, but it tasted so good and the pastry tasted homemade, not like the pierogi you get from the shops. I like the way these guys wrap the food container in a foil to keep it warm, which it still was after a 15 minute walk. Pricing is reasonable and the meal filled me up, the lady was really nice, helped me choose my meal and she actually smiled and seemed happy, unlike some Eastern European shop assistants 😉 Parking is an issue, but most customers will already be in town anyway. I'll definitely visit again for my zapiekanka and if you fancy something different, then I highly recommend this...

Zapiekana such an easy dish unfortunately the baguette was not fresh and tasted like a sponge. Mushrooms I’m not too sure maybe they were expired or in some weird sauce ?
It was the first time Ive tried this eatery and I’d say it was also my last time. The fast food is not the best. Maybe the traditional home made dinners are worth of trying as I didn’t have a chance to order it before.
Ladies who work there are great! Very nice and...

In those days the Duchess was a very Dickensian pub. Dark and smokie with a tap room and /or snug complete with a few ladies of the night.
A rare sentimental return trip to my wonderful Bradford, having parked the car with my partner Jan our first stop was the Duchess of Kent. So different from the pub I knew so many years ago but still the same feel and atmosphere. Now more open and feeling more spacious with lovely decor and furnishings. The Landlord was very welcoming and friendly a really nice guy as the other...
