Boating Pavilion & Café — Restaurant in Bradford

The Staff are like a PICK & MIX. Sometimes there nice & Sometimes they're a.s.s. holes!

Came yesterday. My nephew is only 4 years old he ran to the toilets as he knew they were closing at 5.30pm but got there by 5.40pm 10 mins over, the lady had just closed by blocking the chairs there by the door but the man outside said it's fine he can go in & the young girl asked and the manager inside was so abruct and says "sorry we're closed" I asked again "he's only a child, please can he go" manager "we're closed" honestly I felt disgusted and we not long spent £25 on icecream and £28 on hot drinks so a total of £53 at 5pm and they say no to a child to use the toilet it's shocking when your a paying customer. If there were no customers you wouldn't be paid your basic wage.

Even the last time I came and bought two sandwiche boxes £10 each for a drink with added sweetener, sandwich and packet if crisps with a fruit. That's a joke of a rip off.

Your better off bringing ur own food. Some of the staff are OK but there's a young Asian girl her attitude stinks and the white guy in there.

You guys really lack customer service, wouldn't hurt to crack a smile on your face either. Just because your having a bad day it doesn't mean you try ruin someone else's life is too short. Be nice to people and you might be busier then you are rather then closing early due to no customers....

I've lived in Bradford all my life and I visit lister park regularly, now I have children of my own so the kids love going for walks and using the park facilities however cafe staff and owners are a disgrace, you'd think they were doing you a favour, shameful, disrespectful and miserable not to mention their attitude towards customer. Over the years I've spent hundreds at that cafe, but I'll never use it again nor will my children all 8 of them and hopefully they'll be telling there children not to visit that cafe...

The only good thing is the ice coffee they make in the summer. Customer service is appalling. The ladies who work there act like they are doing you a favour by serving you. Not that the customer is helping to pay their wages?!? The manager himself is the same so I can see why the staff behave this way. Would love to see someone else takeover and make it more family friendly with people who actually want...
