Ordered from here twice now. This place does not deserve 6 stars. That is ludicrous. The so called gourmet cheese burger was horrible. When you are paying for food you want it to taste and look good. All the people leavibg positive reviews are they eating from the same place. Cafe 1b needs to seriously work on their food. The menu is so misleading. Nothing you order is whst you expect. Horrible food. The jacket patato was ok but not enough toppings. I ordered extra toppings in order to get a normal amount. These cheese needs to go in the patato first. Poor presentation of food. Chips and bap taste weired. The canned dronks were nice becase the so called chef had notjing to do with them. Miracle they rembered to put them in a fridge. Small mercies. Had yo make my own salad. Patato uncooked. Threw burger away. Chicken masala was expecting this to pe really well made but was dry and looked awful. Its not chicken masala wheb thers no masala to be seen. The parathas are not homemade. They are awful very dry no butter at all snd raw. Will nedd to cook on a skillet begore eating. Parathas are amazing but nit from out from home. Waste of money to be honest. They really need to listen to people who sre not happy with the food and make serious changes. But the resturant still wins because they still get their money and customers get really bad food. Was looking for a good lunch place didnt find...
Read moreRead a lot of reviews online so decided to give this place a shot. Good location just off Great Horton Road. Parking available across the street, double yellows right outside. Small, cosy little diner with around 30 seats for customers. Staff were friendly. Minimal decor, plenty of food and drink options available. We ordered a full English desi breakfast and a chicken melt. Very mediocre food. The wait time wasn’t too long. The full English portion was decent, however didn’t taste that nice. The hash browns were really greasy, did not enjoy them at all. 1 sausage with full English where most other local cafes you can get 2 for the same price. Mushrooms were greasy and bland. The desi breakfast was average, nothing special at all. The coffee was average with the full English. The chicken melt was the only thing worth going for to be honest. Had enough flavour and the cheese was melted properly. All in all it wasn’t as nice as other local coffee shops in Bradford. Average meal, don’t think I’ll be...
Read moreToo much garam masala in the chick peas otherwise nicely cooked. Paratha is not home made but the issue is with the heat distribution. It comes out soggy in the middle because it's a pastry type paratha that need even heat distribution to cook it throughout.
The apple crumble and custard needs to be either separate or equally heated to be piping hot throughout. Unfortunately the heat does not permeate equally when both items apple crumble and custard are heated together in one container.
Apart from this the price is fair and I will be returning to try other things on the...
