CUPP Bubble Tea - The Broadway Bradford — Restaurant in Bradford

Really disappointed in this drink! My sister placed an order for us on Deliveroo for one chocolate & pistachio milk tea and a rose milk tea both with cream (paid extra). The cream wasn’t put onto the drinks. On top of that, the drink I received looks like the Temu version of the one advertised. Most expensive cup of chocolate milk for over £6! Truly shocking! To add a smidge of pistachio sauce to the cup and not even the drink itself is misleading and false advertisement. Consider relabelling the drink to chocolate milkshake with a squirt of pistachio sauce because that’s all it was! I don’t know who’s making the drinks and who’s setting the cupp guidelines on drink making. Both should be fired and replaced! The drink SHOULD be part chocolate milk and part pistachio milk (you must blend the sauce and milk together as it DOES not mix otherwise) and then only THEN should a squirt of pistachio sauce be added to the cup for the aesthetics! Honestly such a let down considering it’s the first time I’ve tried Cupp, will definitely stick to the connoisseurs of milk tea Gong Cha in Leeds instead. As an ex barista myself I would never allow a drink to leave the premises in this state to a customer especially when they’re paying ludicrous amounts of money for it. Amazing taste. 2 stars taken away for drink gotten wrong thrice by two different servers!! Had to wait 25 minutes to get 2 drinks- no apologies or empathy either.

Reply: the lady made wrong teas - both- just handed them to me. I said " this is not what I ordered " she took them back reluctantly while giggling. Went back and while she was making them again.. I saw she added different boba and added coca powder which I didn't ask so I said out loud " I didn't ask for those two things" she then giggled some more. Discarded the teas. The other girl took over and asked if I could show them a recipe again which I did. She made the teas and again added yhe wrong boba and then got frustrated. She said to me " please shout out tapioca and NO COCO when you see me making your order its about the 4th one in line" - I thought this was strange yo ask ME to make sure my order was correct however I had been standing now AFTER placing the order for a good 25 min ( line was another 10 or 20).

So I did do that and finally after frustrating 25 min or so got my two bobas which were literally - brown sugar premium no coco with coconut and brown sugar premium no coco so not sure what was...

In regard to a review left a week ago by "Azaan Khan" what utter rubbish! I was in the queue behind them and we approached the queue at the same time they just happened to be in front. We waited at MOST 5 mins and the server who they are referring do did not seem to realise that she was not ALLOWED to serve us, she didn't REFUSE service. "Azaan khan" was EXTREMELY rude and was swearing and calling her profanities....over bubble tea mind you. The server was very visibly upset by this and had to be reassured by myself and a few other customers that we totally understood she wasn't to blame. To totally honest, other more experienced members of staff seemed like they were aware of what she would need to do but instead chose to gossip in the corner as not one of the staff members came to her defence against the irate customer. Again all of this over bubble tea. Sorry I don't usually leave reviews but how the customer acted was totally unnecessary and then to further bash her for something I witnessed did NOT happen is ridiculous.
