I have been using Nandos Centenary Square since its inception. By far their food is generally better than Nandos Leisure Exchange however they lack basic competence. When eating at the restaurant there are no issues as such however when collecting food or having it delivered, service suddenly dips. The last three times I have placed an order for delivery multiple items have been missing. Ironically one thing missing on all three of my last orders was peri drizzle.
Called the store and the manager acknowledged she put my order together herself. Being a manager you wold expect for her to follow a natural protocol when someone orders humous with peri drizzle. There are 3 parts to this item, the bread, humous and a bottle of drizzle. How you managed to forget both the drizzle and the key thing humous itself is beyond me. When one collects their food you go through a check list of everything, i find it baffling how you miss out items when food is being delivered. Does care and attention of checking a customers order go out of the window.
Whats most annoying and one of the 2 main reasons that have pushed me to write the review is that on all three occasions the same family member has been unable to eat with the rest of the family because their order is incomplete. The second reason to being pushed is the lack of ownership and resolution to the problem. This is where Leisure exchange is much better, they know when they mess up and dont faff about by doing something about it.
On this occasion even though I ordered from the website, the lazy manager was more focussed on making me call deliveroo because they delivered the food. I didnt order from deliveroo i ordered from nandos online and furthermore, deliveroo did not put my order together, they merely delivered what you give them and sealed.
Appalling service. When they mess up they wont give you a solution, instead you get excuses and made to feel the one in wrong because "they are only humans and make mistakes". They wont think about your money, inconvenience and the fact people shall go without eating the food...
Read moreCame to Nando’s after 6 months since lockdown. Was a horrific experience. First Of all, we walked in and the manager told us to wait outside, in a rude way. She then said u need a mask. We don’t have any spare. We thought okay fair enough we’ll get one and come back. So we went and came back. The manager then took us in and asked us to use a phone to scan the barcode for a menu on your phone to order. When she explained the process and said u need your bank details online to order. I asked if my phone was dead how would I order? And pay? Surely we would be able to do a paper order and pay contactless? She got funny saying ‘well you can’t order then. And your phones on anyway’ and I said yes I’m asking in general if I didn’t have my phone because it is low in battery. Then she said ‘ok well is there a problem? You’re very rude’ I said I never said nothing I only responded to you saying ‘right’ to show I understand. She is a very rude worker who doesn’t know how to talk to customers. Disgusting. Food came late and cold aswell. Will definitely not be returning to this unprofessional rude place. If I wasn’t as hungry as I was I would have a go at her. But I didn’t want her throwing us out. Screw you woman....
Read more-Total disbelief and disgusted with Nando's Had to wait 30mins for them to accommodate 6 people and numerous excuses given for the delay No table service available Told to order online using their app 😠 😡 This took ages when not familiar with online food ordering, not everyone is tech savvy !!!!!! Surprised they don't prevent entry to those who can't or would find it difficult to order online 🙄 😠 😡 Finally received food approx 1hr after arrival Food brought to table however no cutlery, drinks or seasonings brought with same. After requesting these items informed we had to get our own from the service area which caused disruption with our seating arrangements given limited space available to constantly get up and down to obtain same. Requested hot drinks has none visible on the menu. Informed hot drinks machine was removed during Covid restrictions and not returned. Absolutely appalled and unacceptable when your faced with limited chilled options unsuitable or palatable for customers therefore, overall choice options not available.
1 positive - Food was good.
Will not be returning to any branch whatsoever for reasons stated and lack of personal...
