We went for the early bird on Thursday thinking we would get a good deal. I assumed like every other early bird I've ever been to it would be a main course and a starter, turns out for £15 you get just the main course. The main courses are £12.95, with a small £2 naan bread there is no saving whatsoever. I asked if I could have chapattis instead of naan but told that wasn't possible for some reason.

I thought well ok at least the drinks are two for the price of one. I ordered a medium red wine and clearly stated I wanted to pay for one but get two wines. The waiter went away and brought me two wines back, at which point he informed me the two-for-one offer is only on the second round and I would have to pay for both wines... That is unacceptable and the waiter should have stated that before letting me order the two drinks.

To top it off it's cash only so probably zero tax paid.

It's a shame as the restaurant itself and the food were really nice and would have got a five-star if we hadn't come away feeling ripped off.

Update, looking at the offer it definitely says 2 courses for £14.95 and 2 for 1 on drinks. It should have been £36 but it cost us £54. I assume we can get a...

What can i say i was here last 2013 when i was doing a mangement course staying at the craiglands. How can i put it..loved the food then loving it even more now. Anyways i have had this wonderful meal the starter was i think called Agni stir fried and the main called Biswanathi Khana and that was lovely. 👍

Also the staff took extra care to our needs. And often went to the back to make sure they got the food out to the best they could. I also observed their communication with the back of the house (for every customer) showed...

We visited this restaurant yesterday evening and what a delight! I highly recommend trying it. All the staff were very helpful, friendly and chatty right from being greeted on arrival, until we left. The food was stunning to say the least, very flavoursome! I was full, but did not want to leave anything! Even the Naan bread was tasty. The restaurant is also licensed, so you can accompany your meal with your favourite tipple. I will definately...
