Lovely place, very well maintained, lovely decor. I think personally the prices of the food was a little expensive for what it tastes. I dont mind paying above and beyond but I wouldn't of said it was worth the meal I had. Peri peri chicken which was very bland. Chips were abit over done also. Although the staff were very polite and well mannered. There was a mix up at the end with our bill. A group of 4 of us and one paid 70 which left us to pick up the rest which they charged us over. And when I pointed this out. Still wasn't given the correct change and just handed a 20 pound note back. I think they could of been a bit more polite about it, expecially having stuck a 10 pound service charge on top of our bill in the first place. Not sure what I think about here at the moment.

We sat down and decided we were not going to be those types of people who take photos of their food but we just couldn't help it...so we took a photo of the starter, Chicken Gyozas. It was perfect! That's where the photos stopped though, as much as they would help this review, you need to experience it for yourself! The atmosphere was nice and not too loud, the waitress was attentive and made sure that we had everything we needed. There was also no pressure to finish food and move on to the next course. I can highly recommend the Chicken Gyozas, 10oz Ribeye Steak (peppercorn sauce and veg too), and finishing off with the Sticky Toffee Pudding Cheesecake. All in all a great experience and worth every penny!

This place has been on my visit list for a while and we were not disappointed! Came as a family for a celebration meal at 5pm on a Friday and the place was lovely and quiet, we had one whole side of the restaurant to ourselves more or less the whole time ! We had the sharing platter for starters, everything on it was absolutely delicious, in particular the scotch eggs!! Me and my partner shared the special tomahawk steak for 2 which was to die for with the chimichurri sauce on!!! All the sides were gorgeous too and my little boy loved his kids steak! Highly recommend and would definitely love to return to try more of the menu!! Would like to say our waiter was absolutely lovely too !!!! Thanks 😊

Went for husband's birthday. We were the only people in the restaurant, however this was likely due to it being the day after Mother's Day and a Monday evening. Food was delicious. Mixed sharing platter was excellent, great choice if you can't decide what to order! Both had steaks for main which were cooked well, and the chunky chips were amazing! Also tried some bone marrow gravy which was really rich and tasty. Puddings were brownie and creme brulee which were lovely. Long island iced tea cocktails were also good. Service was excellent, very attentive waiter, however we were the only customers so cannot comment what it is like when busy. Will definitely be returning!

The sharing platter to start was the highlight, a slightly odd selection of BBQ and Asian bites. The scotch egg was the star. The steak was nice. Well cooked, but let down by too much charring on a grill that seemingly needed a good clean, as there were little flecks of charcoal that left an overpowering burnt aftertaste. Side dishes were generous. The rocky road cheese cake, pictured, was a tasty and welcome finale. The decor inside is not as modern and slick as the exterior, it's a little disjointed and uninspiring, and the music firmly wedged between Simply Red and Lionel Richie. While I enjoyed the food, I won't be rushing back.
