Service here is absolutely ridiculous! Everytime I’ve ordered via the Uber eats app, always takes 1hr and a half to 2 hrs to deliver, once delivered the food is cold. Three times this has happened now. I contacted the shop today as it had been nearly two hours and I hadn’t received my food, to which I got such an unprofessional reply. I was told that the food wasn’t ready yet and that it was going to take another 40 mins, despite the fact that I ordered almost two hours ago. When I asked why the food wasn’t ready, I got the response of “well there’s no point in us making the food if there’s no driver.” I’m sorry but in order to operate as a business on Uber eats, there should be a driver available if not a few. I understand that sometimes things may go wrong and there may be delays in terms of drivers, however in this case I feel as though it is common courtesy as a business to call up your customers and tell them that there is going to be more than 2 hour long delays and ask if they are okay with this. There was absolutely 0 communication whatsoever. I feel as though customers should not have to go out of their way to call up and ask where their order is and to then on top of that receive such unprofessional responses. The man on the phone didn’t really attempt to sort the problem out but rather resorted to saying “okay do you want to cancel your order then?”. Just ridiculous. I don’t usually write reviews, but my recent visit to Pepe’s Piri Piri deserves a serious shoutout—mainly because of one person: Farhan.

Now, don’t get me wrong, the food was great. I went for one of the rice boxes (the chicken one with medium spice), and it was genuinely delicious—flavourful, perfectly seasoned, and surprisingly filling. It had that comfort food vibe but still felt fresh. The rice was fluffy, the chicken was juicy, and it came together in a way that just hit the spot. But honestly, as good as it was, it wasn’t even the highlight of the visit.

The real standout was Farhan, the person who took my order. He wasn’t just friendly—he was the epitome of kind. You know when someone speaks to you with such warmth and genuine care that you instantly feel better, no matter how your day’s been? That’s the energy Farhan brought.

He made sure I got exactly what I wanted, explained the menu like he actually cared, and just had this calm, positive vibe that made the whole experience feel personal. He had this way of making people feel seen, and honestly, it made a huge difference.

In a world full of rushed service and half-hearted interactions, Farhan stood out as someone who actually gives a damn. Special doesn’t even begin to cover it—Pepe’s, if you’re reading this, hold onto him. He’s a gem.

orderd £55 worth of food for the work place. one of the sizzlers had a hair onit but took the hair off and didnt think twice but as i took a bite into my burger i saw another hair which was curly it put me and my collegues off our food but the worse thing about it was when i rang to tell them the rude woman on the phone said "what do you want me to do about it" now thats just not onn customer service from hell. she asked on many occasions if it was male or females hair which i replied how am i supposed to know that. i asked to speak to the manager but she just kept saying what do you want my manager to do which i replied what do you suggest she then said i dont know. after speaking to the manager which i thought at the time was very helpfull we both agreed they would make us some fresh burgers which i thought was nice of him but i was telling him how hot i wanted them and he put the phone down on me whithout even saying sorri and to top it all off the burgers which wer getting made as replacements we wer told to pick them up and they would not deliver them. just to add extra masala when writing this review it would not let me post it until i gave them a star. i wouldnt even give them 1 star but had to click a start for me to post this. so in conclusion my experiance today was bang out of order wont be getting food from pepes agin i mean we live in Bradford plenty of...
